Hi /o/. I want a car with a similar looking color to Hatsune Miku. The best I could find was 2012 Honda Fit Blue Raspberry and 2013 Nissan Versa Note Peacock. I'm not a fan of hatchbacks though, and trying to find a color like it is very difficult because searching for "green" and "blue" never gets me the colors I want. Does /o/ know any cars with colors similar to these or have suggestions on where to look?

Buy whatever car you want and get it painted.
>>17844917
This. Just expect to pay a fair amount for an actually good paint job.

What's a good price to pay for a sedan paint job? Also is there a good brand, etc. for paint to use?
So, now that the challenger is coming with AWD, it's starting to spark some interest in the ralley community. Anyone have any builds in mind? I just picked up my '09 and thinking of putting some big 22's and lifting it. There is an abandoned construction site near my house with a huge really tall dirt pile, used to take my old crown vic off it all the time. Thinking of launching the challenger off it as a test. A little scared because of all the extra horsepower (even though the vic was a beast with its v8). Pic attached, right before we launched the vic for the first time.
Anyways, any other off roading challenger discussion is acceptable here.
new car attached as well :)

Lmao there's no way in hell that 4000 lb boat is going to clear that.
>>17844744
cv did it no problem... i know it was a v8 but it had extra weight from bull bars on the front
What does /o/ think of people like this?

I always turn mine back on if they do this.

was looking to buy a 06 fusion. it's listed with 92k miles. i checked the free carfax and it said 108k. was previously registered on an island with no service records.
it looks like a nice car (from pictures) - should i avoid completely or if it checks out mechanically would you not worry?
avoid
i'm worried the frame has to be rusted a good bit living on an island so i'm gonna check that and if it looks good i'm just gonna go for it. worried about service records.
pls let me know if you have any opinions
>>17844613
any opinions on yay or nay?
i'm a dumbass w cars and not trying to get scammed
>>17844583

Post subtle features you can't live without.
Pic related. If a vehicle does not have a cubby here, its interior was designed by absolute fucking morons. I take my wallet, phone, and keys (push button start) out of my pockets and put them here every time I drive. I am NOT giving up a cupholder for my phone. There are modern car designers TODAY who give you no cubby for your phone, despite infotainment systems having Android Auto/Apple Carplay which requires a wired connection.
I have blacklisted entire brands for not having this cubby. Looking at you, Volvo.
Decent cloth seat option. Not a fan of leather seat.

What sports cars are okay to drive when you're bald? I know boy racers just make us look like an IT guy.

Fox body stangs.
C5 Corvettes with targa tops
Make sure you have colored reflective sunglasses and drive with one hand in the 12 o.clock steering position.

What's a reasonable offer for this MR2, was thinking 7000 is that a lowball offer considering the faded paint areas are expensive to fix. Thoughts?

The fact it needed a "dealership overhaul" in the first place is sus. I'd rather have a wrench monkey doing the repairs in his garage than those clowns at the dealership, but that's just me.
t. friend worked at a honda and ford dealership and said it's complete aids

my only worry is damage from possible accidents, i'd take to a shop to have em look at it. But i don't see how dealer can be incompetent when it comes to that, they dont even rebuild engines i don't think they just swap shit out. Hard to find a good shop that really knows these types of cars. All things check out what would you offer?
>>17844570
It looks clean, but I wouldn't pay more than $6500 for something with that much maintenance history regardless of who did it. Lowball the fuck out of him, but not too low to insult him. He wants your money so you have the leverage in this obviously.
Is there anything more comfy than wrapping yourself up in a sleeping bag in your van and just peacefully drifting off to the sound of rain gently pattering against your roof?
i cant think of anything desu

ITT: You have 20k, build something on a dealer site on that budget and post your choice.
The Corolla iM (formerly Scion iM) is actually kind of fun hatchback with a good manual gearbox that at least tries in the styling department which a lot of cars in this price point are lacking
Added:
>Sweet OEM rice wing with "vortex generators"
>TRD lowering springs
>20k USD
>25k AUD
Can I go up to 30k AUD because of the retarded tax and duty we get here?

http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-assemble-a-HHO-Generator-and-why-it-works/
Doesn't make enough power, and burning fresh water is probably a magnitude worse than burning gasoline.
>>17844023
HHO is actually something like 10x more explosive than gasoline and burns cleanly back into h20.
I've always toyed around with the idea of a turbo like generator specifically for HHO production. Maybe when I get some hobby money just for shits and giggles to see how well it works.

Energy density is what you have to look at, both by weight and by volume.
Hydrogen is only viable as a fuel when stored in a highly compressed state. This is the real reason why they have never caught on anywhere. Storing hydrogen is incredibly difficult, and its only viable for automotive use when stored at pressures high enough to make it a literal bomb.
Thinking about a 2011 or so Taurus SHO. I can probably find one for about 10-11k.
I currently have a 2004 Acura TSX (150k)and 2005 Explorer V8 (230k). Both are well maintained and good vehicles, to sell. And a 2007 Sierra 2500 Duramax that i will keep.
Any issues with the SHO that I should know? I wouldn't mind doing some open road racing with it as well, like the Silver State in Nevada.
i have 1
great car

same poster btw
the only prob i had with mine is 1 blown tire but that was my fault
There's a reason why they lost $30k of their value in 5 years. They're crap. Bigger and heavier than a crown Vic, interior almost mid size tier, sideways twin turbo V6 that is a nightmare to work on, early direct injection issues.
