Post a more masculine looking car.
>Pro-tip, you can't.
Straightforwardness is masculine. Pretention is feminine. Men don't put on make up.
what went right

Id like to know that as well.
Honda made a nice car for people who couldn't afford a M3 vert.
That's the s2000
That's all the s2000 is
and that's okay.
It isn't even that good, the thing developes no power at all until the rev counter is already on its third full circle.
Audi A6 vs A5. Which one? I'm on a budget and I can get a nice 2011 A5 Sportback, but should I? For the same price I can get an A6 2008/2009.
But damn does the A5 look good.
Help me with my choice. Any owners here that can point out the pro's and con's in both models?
>>17845229
If you like the idea of "Four Door Coupe," and A5 looks good to you. Buy A5. Otherwise, A6.
>>17845229
BMW 4-series or 5-series, Mercedes C-Class, E-Class or CLS. Don't waste your money on a glorified Passat.
A5 is based off of the A4(Golf), so the A6(Passat) should be better.
Why is there so much hate in the car world. Everyone just seems to be jealous faggots, whether someone has a better build or better car or whatever.
I bet my Civic can beat your Civic faggot.
>>17845127
Everybody wants to feel like they're in a special club whether it'd be by brand, market, or special interest. As such, they feel like they need to hate on other groups as their rivals and criticize the peers in their own group.
In short, autism.

It's pushing me away from cars
Would you rather have a moderately fast car that looks amazing (think car show winner quality)
Or an absolute rust bucket that destroys almost anything in a straightline?
>>17845124
>an absolute rust bucket that destroys almost anything in a straightline?
Buying a car for looks is for posers and faggots. Racing in a straight line is pretty boring though, I'd want a moderately fast rust bucket that can destroy anything on corners.
>>17845124
good looking car, we have speed laws in america, so going faster than the limit is a good way to get in big trouble. plus it's way better to lean back and cruise
>>17845124
>straightline
How's that room temperature IQ treating you, Cletus?
>Researched, saved up, and waited for a good deal to buy the car I wanted for months
>Buy it
>Feel incredibly guilty after
I wasn't expecting this. I want the car, but I didn't get any kind of "high". I felt more anxious than anything when I left the lot. Has this happened to anyone here?
Buyer's remorse is fucking shit. I feel bad whenever i spend more than 100 bucks
>>17845088
this, it's a good thing to have OP, means you're slightly jewish
I actually remember feeling the same thing. My thinking was
>I have a car already
>I still like my old car
>now I have more bills
>was this a mistake?
I mean it all kinda subsided after a month of comfy DD
I have a 2008 Civic. When I drive at 50-65 I can hear a vvvvvvrrrrrrrr sound. That's a wheel bearing going out right? How hard is it to change those?
Are you fucking retarded
>>17845063
Can you explain instead of being a sperg?
I want to buy an older Wrangler . (probably late 90s) Budget is 7k CAD. What am I in for?
make sure it's a I6, dana 44 axles and 5spd manual and you'll love it
>>17845047
I wouldn't pass one up just because it doesnt have a d44. You can always put something better in later.
Prepare for a shit ton of repairs. Rust also eats these things alive.

but did you watch the video?
worst occurrence of Prius rage I've ever seen, I wonder if Sam Hyde was behind the wheel making a 80s horror movie toy laugh :^)
Thoughts?
I've owned one for about 8 months now.
I'll start off by saying I would not buy this car new. MSRP was above 20k for the base model, which is asking way too much for what you get. I paid 12k for mine used, and I think it's very much worth that much for what I got.
If your priority is MPG, this is not a good option because although it reflects the Honda Insight, it only gets about 2/3rds the MPG at best. What it gets in return however is a platform that is ready for modifications, custom bodywork, entertainment systems, suspension setups. check out what you can get form kamispeed, HKS, and Spoon for this car and youll be pretty impressed that this car has the aftermarket it does.
I have an HKS catbakc exhaust on mine, with a Takeda AFE intake which makes the car louder and fun to hoon on my commute. this car stock is not remarkable, but for what I need a car for its perfect.
2 seater, never had to drive more than one person in my last car that seated 4 so I didnt see a reason to get a big car.
15kw hybrid IMA system that uses Li-Ion in the 13'+ models which is much better than early hybrids. not amazing but you can feel it kick in when you need it.
low center of gravity, very little body roll due to hevay batteries.
breaks traction very easily bone stock, first FWD i ever got to do a burnout. I don't like this though, i feel that the stock suspension/wheel/tire setup is far too slippery.
its small, I can park it anywhere.
Huge hatch trunk, find a pic/video online.
to actually have fun in this car you need to keep it in "sport mode", which has very touchy throttle response but is fun to drive. gas saving mode is sluggish, but great for stop/go driving.
I like the body styling. its more interesting in some subtle ways but is also not flashy, can blend in not draw too much attention. very unisex body styling not too aggressive not to round and bubbly either.
Mod ready. literally has stock harness mounts behind the driver and passenger seat.

So in short, it can either be a utilitarian sleeper build, as well as a ricer wet dream.
>25 years old without a license
>take handful of driving lessons, instructor says i drive really well, even do some freeway stuff
>no way to practice outside of lessons because have no one to work with me (also big reason why ive gotten to this age without a license, parents wouldnt help, no friends/family to practice with)
>can't practice things like parallel parking, parking in a space, etc and scared i'm gonna fail test
even though ive heard the test is so easy here in america, i feel like a danger on the road not knowing how to do those basics like parking. did anyone on here have these problems and overcame them?
Of course no one overcame any of those problems on /o/, there's a reason why this cancerous board is filled with Bench racing busriders
>>17844916
bullshit everyone here has cars they arent bus riders
>>17844907
im surprised instructors have never had you parallel park.
in general, its stuff that gets easier with experience.
I did my driving lessons, and practiced at home with dad, but only on empty roads in a local park.
Once I got my own car, I drove it only locally at first, because I never did any highway instruction, and I was scared of merging in and out.
>"w-what if there's traffic?"
once i got familiarized with local travel, I just up and drove onto the highway one day. i had to get to work, and i wasnt gonna take the bus if I have a car, so i just did it. And again, after a while it gets easier as you get used to it.
as for Parallel parking, nobody likes it. It's one of those things that, if you can help it, you avoid, especially if it's a single spot between two cars.
you just have to do it eventually though.
just remember what you were taught and you should be fine.
if you fail, just reapply. no harm no foul, not everyone gets it in one go
what car should i buy if i want to intimidate and shit on toyobaru owners? looking for something that is somewhat close to it in price range but isn't a muscle car because tend to block it out of their memories whenever they shit on by one. I need something that strikes them deep and make them feel the bitter taste of buyers remorse.

Shitposting threads go on /b/ or another board that's not here, anyone who replies to this thread below this post is a busriding shitter.
>asshurt brz owner spotted
Joke's on you, I'm too poor for a new car of any kind.
Didn't Chrysler sell a shitload of K-platform cars? Its what Iacocca created to save them right? Why are they so hard to find on Craigslist? I want to buy one just to use as delivery driver. Thoughts on these /o/?
>>17844837
I wouldn't be surprised if the cash 4 clunkers program claimed most of those
They all rotted into the ground decades ago or were scrapped/crushed.
>>17844846
I didn't think cash 4 clunkers was very successful? I'm not too knowledgeable on them.
