I wanna buy one, i watched all the reviews i found but no one talked about build ( and engine) quality and owning one for a long time. What should i expect? Talking about 2-3rd gen. Im not asking a redpill just wanna get info to help me be prepared when i buy one. If there are any owners here that would be ideal. (Im aiming for the 4 door sedan)
What engine is in there?

How is the Nissan Silvia S15? Thinking of buying a clean one for some weekend cruising but I have no idea about its reliability and overall reputation.
>>17840974
Silvia is a poorman GT-R
But if you can find 350z and it's cheaper than silvia, then buy the 350z instead

How much would they cost in 2019? I really want one right now but I can not afford it and I don't want to settel with a beaten up 330ci. Im poisitive I can afford one around 2019 or 2020 how much would it be then, a few grand more?. I live in Australia and the cheapest one is a Auto Coupe for 14k right now as of SEP 2017

In Europe, the E46 still has about 1-2 years before hitting barrel bottomw price-wise. The M3 however is already on the rise.

Why do people over-inflate tires?
>blog incoming
>2 months after getting my first sports car from a dealership, my dad was riding with me and told me to check the tire pressure with the ones in my car manual, said it was bumpier than it should be, and handles strangely.
>He hadn't noticed previously because he thought I was still learning proper clutch control.
>I had noticed it was a twitchy motherfucker to drive, and the slightest bump would move my feet around on the pedals and cause more bumps, but I assumed that's just how sports cars drive, and pegged it down as the car needing next level clutch control.
Turns out the dealer inflated the rear tires 35kPa higher than it should be, and the front 30kPa higher than it should be. Why? What's the benefit? Does it make people think the car is more bite-y and powerful than it really is?
>>17840740
The higher the pressure the lower the rolling resistance, thus better fuel economy. I pump my tires up to 3 bars which is about 40 PSI, it really doesn't bother the tire.
They probably read "MAX PSI" on the side of the tires and ignored what the car asks for. Basically they're retarded
>>17840754
>Doesn't bother the tire
Really now?
The new TVR is called TVR Griffith, bringing once again the historical name of Griffith from the 1963. Designed by Gordon Murray and packs a 400 bhp Cosworth engine
Just looks like a super toned down TVR with no real special styling.
Not keen, but I thought TVR was dead as fuck?

It looks really cute
>friend asks me to go with her to look at a car
>2004 Jeep owned by another college girl asking $3000
>meet them in wallmart parking lot, already hate when people won't just meet at their house
>check out car, brakes and rotors are shot, tires very worn and starting to dry rot, all suspension bushings worn out. dirty inside and out despite the girl saying she just cleaned it
>no codes, drive it, drives like bounce house, makes weird noise when shifting into drive, everything inside is sticky
>i tell my friend it drives like shit, definitely not worth it, she doesn't even want to drive it at this point
>I tell girls all the issues I saw, but I offer $1500 anyways just to see
>instantly girl and her friend get very defensive, "my dad is a mechanic and has done everything on this car, you don't know what you're talking about ect."
>Tell her that's our offer, it's okay if we don't agree on a price, no harm in walking away from the deal
>She says the lowest she could do was $1900, she calls her dad and makes me talk to him, basically screaming how he replaced the brakes in april, give him same offer, he says he won't let her sell it for less than $2500
>we just walk away from it, girls friend gets extremely passive aggressive and gives me a "tip" for the next time I buy a car to not be "condescending" to the sellers.
>Laugh extremely hard. Leave and go to dinner with friend
>after we finish eating friend gets text from girl saying she'll drive to our uni and sell her the car for $2600 with her mechanic dad since I have no idea what I'm talking about
>just reply "no thanks"

Why do women love jeeps? And shitty cars in general?
And WHY do people feel the need to lie when selling a vehicle?
I suppose it's possible the brakes were done 6 months ago and are now shot, if it's being driven by a woman in the city, she's probably dragging the brakes everywhere and slamming them on to stop.
