Does owning a car like that get old fast and make you wish you bought something standard?
pic obviously unrelated

Not even bogan anymore. It's not 2000
Why do Californians hate this freeway?
Better question -- why are Californians such emotionally infantile pussies who have no sense of logic or reasoning?
>>17500884
Awww did the big mean Californian hurt your widdle feelings? What did he do, cut you off in a Tesla?
It sucks because of traffic during certain parts of the day. Too many people crammed in LA.
I basically have my mind set on an Infiniti G35 as my daily driver on a <10K budget. Does anyone here own or have owned one at some point?
I like that they are pretty much a 4 seater 350z with luxury options. Can't go wrong with 300hp either.
every girl I know owns one.
every drug dealer I know owns one.
Every homosexual I know owns one.
get fined all the time for stupid maneuvers while everyone sings their praises.
I never understood why people praise female drivers for racing with guys it's not like fooball or hockey where the menbare like 98% of the time bigger stronger and faster than them. Driving is pure skill.
>>17501018
Depends on the series, its arguable that some series is 70 to 80% the car/team behind it, the other parts skill and to a smaller degree athletic endurance (takes alot of body strength to endure constant lateral 1+g's)
>>17501018
women are (allegedly) worse drivers
racing is and always has been a mans sport (women were even barred from some tracks back in the day)
society has made it where a woman doing anything competing against a man is some kind of surprise
so when you see a woman racer its some amazingly blessed lady with god like skills regardless of how well she does
I was browsing the Hyundai certified used site for the dealer in my area and Honda as well. It seems cars in the same class/trim/year are sold for a huge price difference.
It seems like used hyundais in my area that are like 1-3 years old are going for like 13k and Hondas of the same age are going for like 20k.What the fuck is up with this
How old are you my son? You have to be 18 years old to use this website.
>>17500503
Because shitty Japanese cars are way better than shitty Korean cars????
>>17500509
What the hell are you saying right now? Clearly you are reflecting yourself summerfriend.

Lexus GS300 mk2 2JZ-GE:
friends say:
>ugly
>looks like corolla
>boring
>for old people
>buy bmw or audi instead
>it's not a car for polack
i think:
>reliable
>cheap maintenance
>comfortable
>that meme 3.0 R6 engine
>great tranny
>interior design
>mark levinson
>easy to turn into sleeper
who is right, /o/?
well, never mind, i just bought one and it's great. i don't experience panic attacks while driving no more.
>easy to turn into sleeper
Wrong, the 2JZ-GE is different from the 2JZ-GTE in the Aristo and Supra Turbo, and has weaker internals. You can't just slap a turbo on it and expect to make the same power as a Supra, you'll either have to swap in an actual Supra Turbo engine (rare because no one wants to gut a Supra Turbo) or do an excessive effort upgrading the internals before you can turbocharge it.
Nevertheless it's fantastic value and unites Toyota reliability and repair costs with nearly Mercedes level ride comfort. Just don't expect to build a 600 hp sleeper out of it.
>buy bmw or audi instead
>it's not a car for polack
Tell your gopnik friends that they're tasteless ugly Russians.
its a boring granny car thats only good for VIP builds
and even then its the wimpy GS300 and not the GS400 so its not even really worth doing that to
>>17500030
Your friends are stupid, GS300 a cute
my engine sounds weird
what gives?
https://streamable.com/03z3e
Did you honestly record engine sound from INSIDE the car WHILE the music was on? It sounds like you have a case of coon tunes, flush the radio favorites and maybe replace the aux device.
>>17499863
Sounds like there's a blanket in the air intake

WHITE PEOPLE SHOULD DRINK BLEACH SO THEY CAN BE WHITE ON THE INSIDE TOO
I mean getting the heartbeating/always on your mind stuff not wanting to actually fuck it, marry it or some shit
69 Oldsmobile Cutlass Holiday Coupe
The first time I saw one I didn't stop thinking about it for about four fucking years. I finally stopped because I realized I didn't have the money or skills to ever acquire/restore a nice one and fell into depression.
If I owned this car I would take it on a cross country trip to americana landmarks, sleep in the driver's seat, take pictures of it at every stop along the way like it was my wife, and run my naked dick along the bodywork inside the privacy of my garage when I got back home.

I know those feels.
Also the reason why I really wish you luck and that you can actually make this dream come true some time.

Just like most other retards wandering onto this board, I'm looking to buy a car. This will be my first vehicle, since I didn't really need one until now.
I'm looking to get an SUV or a minivan, since I have kids and might need to haul some friends or cargo every now and again. I want to be able to take it out to the mountains for skiing in winter, so having AWD would be nice (got stuck more than once in FWD cars).
Budget is ~40K USD
I live in Japan, so most euro makes are too expensive and most american ones aren't even sold here. Given that, I'll probably stick with a japanese brand, unless there's a really good reason not to.
So far, the top contenders are:
Toyota C-HR at ~28K
Toyota Noah at ~32K
Mitsubishi Outlander at ~32K
Toyota Harrier at ~38K
Mitsubishi Delica D5 at ~40K (this would've been my first choice if it wasn't also the most expensive)
Is any one of those an obviously good (or terrible choice)? Or is there anything better that /o/ can recommend within the price range? Any advice is appreciated.
Base Forester with manual
EVO Wagon
forester, legacy wagon etc..
subaru best option here
>tfw you finally start to get the hang of driving a stick after being an automatic pleb your whole life
Is there a better feel?
>Is there a better feel?
Even asking that question means you've never been laid.
Your like a child learning how to walk and then telling his parents he learned how to walk, so basically good job big boy! next is potty training!
>drove manual all of my life
>buy first automatic two month ago
>no longer feel like /o/tist pleb

is right. You are a virgin

This fucking guy.
He makes this stupid ass video bitching about his Tesla and how it's unsafe because he was a negligent pos and won't get his tires rotated or replaced like a normal person
Then he goes on to say that since the model he was bought is RWD, it's unsafe because he drove in the rain and winter on shitty summer tires and probably can't drive to save his life
Are all Teslafags really this goddamn stupid?
tesla appeals to normies that don't care about cars
and normies are very, very uninformed about cars
one thing leads to another
americans are fucking stupid
This must be the big IQ drop you hear so often about these days.
>2050 - people stop using toilets because this year alone hundreds died slipping when sitting down on them
90% sure my GS-R needs a total engine rebuild, do I just sell it and not tell the next owner?
I have like two fresh gs-r's. I would be totally fucking devastated if someone screwed me like that. I'm a total softy for those gs-r's that it would probably bother me enough to seek you out and find some tiny loophole to destroy your financial life. I'm talking a poverty so deep your great great great great great grandchildrens creditscores would be fucked
>>17495723
lmao the previous fucked me so why not pass it on?
>>17495730
Because why would you want someone to feel the same way you did when it happened to you? What the fuck kind of logic is that? You obviously didn't know what to look for but now you do so maybe you learnt something. I can almost guarantee if you sold it as you said someone would still buy it for top dollar especially if this pic is really your car and its clean underneath. I paid top dollar for both of mine because they cam with full inspections as well as a actual 3rd party Acura tech to look them over. They are both pristine though and very low mileage cars
What's the best way to deal with mirror smashing motorcyclists? Dash cam?
Katana to the jugular. They can't smash mirrors if they're banished to the shadow realm.
Carry a stick in your car and hit any passing motorcycle cucks.
>>17495272
Carry a really big stick.
Some soulless chink in Vancouver leaves her little kids in the car on a hot summer day with the windows rolled up while she went shopping. Canadians see the kids and call the cops video goes viral.

unpixelated youtube video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPJXAOSbWiA
if you saw this would you break the windows of the car to get them out? (or even to just experience the feeling of fucking up someone else's car?)
can you legally get in trouble for doing this if the purpose was to get the kids out?
I think leaf land has Good Samaritan laws. I don't give a shit about damaging someone's car, but save the damn kids.
Here in America the legal system is entirely against you if you try to do something heroic. Even if it works out for you there could be thousands in legal fees along the way. Most of us want to help people and do nice things but if you get involved then you're no longer a bystander and may become responsible for the outcomes, no matter how much better you made it with your actions. It's sad, but we live in a society where if you saw some kids in a hot car then it's legally albeit arguably not morally a good idea to just keep going.
If they looked well alive and moving I'd call the cops and keep an eye on them.
If they looked passed out and could not be roused I'd still call the cops, explain the situation and tell them that I am preparing to wreck the window. If they say no then the responsibility is in their hands.
>Tink of da chillums
I have a real soft spot for kids. So soft to the point that I truly imagine that some child born to parents as ignorant as that is better off suffering for an hour then dying than suffering their nonsense for years and eventually loosing all of their humanity and ending up like their parents to repeat the same nonsense on their own chilluns.
