i found a shit box to beat the shit out of (1994 honda civic) and i want to start driving it. i know it's the law to have insurance but my parents usually deal with all that
i want to get some quotes but all these websites ask for so much personal info that i don't want to give away
is it a scam? do they really need that much information? how much can i expect to pay?

can someone explain why this wheel/tire set up looks so bad.
ive seen it on many cars. Brand new wheels and tires and they just look out of place.
Is it due to the size of the side wall? Just not meaty enough? It makes it look like a fragile plastic toy car in a bad way.

1) cheap Chinese wheels
2) black/chrome never looks good, just accentuates the cheapness
3) the car needs big brakes to fill in the empty void behind those wheels.

The tire sizing looks fine and the offsets are not terrible.

there was an interesting article in the NYT a few days ago that speculated that the collector car market will crash once Boomers start dying off because Millennials are poor and can't possibly buy the masses of cars that will flood the market. Maybe the days of "no tire kickers no lowballers I know what I got" will soon be at an end and we'll be able to buy McLaren F1s for $3k each.

Heyyo so im going to a festival and want to sneak in some booze and the best spot in my car to put it happens to be where the dashboard airbag and all its accompanying wiring sits... is it possible for the airbag to deploy from just touching/knocking some wiring/the airbag?? (Pic Related)

How much do we really drive on average? I mean, its gonna make traffic a lot safer and effective, but its not like it will drastically change our lives
The average Joe will get another 10-20 minutes to look at his phone both ways, while other people may get like another hour or sleep or something.
The biggest changes will be extremely reduced numbers of jams (if any), large reduction in accidents and deaths, and better response time for emergency services. I mean, there aren't really any downsides to this once you get the technology working accurately and safely
