This came out. Anyone playing it?
I really like the mecha design here.

Are adding mecha/robot elements to open worlds a new fad?Because I've very ok with it

>I can stop automated cars that are out to kill me with a pointy stick
Toppest kek.
Might get it in the coming weeks. March will be packed with games for me.
>>15266315
The difference is most cars don't have brains. Shooting circuits or wires that might be controlling these beasts would stop it from chasing you.
Also I think they use special arrows or some shit.

Robotards can only be commiserated.
If there is one thing I learn from getter armageddon, then it is that if you can turn up the cliches to 11, no plot is required.
Another one of those people who didn't understand Armageddon's plot.
>>15265707
is armageddon your first piece of media ever?
>>15265727
Why do you shitpost in every thread about Armageddon?
Why can't you admit that the plot was a meme and accept that despite that fact, it was still a good OVA to watch?
Who is your favourite Gundam MC? Mine is pic-related.
>>15263142
Why?Yeah Setsuna's my favorite too though.
>>15263162
Because of what he's been through as a child and how it fucked him up. And for all his autism too ('I couldn't become a Gundam' etc.)
Honestly I'd have to say Amuro.
He's just some kid thrust into an unforgiving war, and doing the best he can. It's not until late into the story that he starts gaining newtype abilities, but unlike Zeta and ZZ, he doesn't do anything stupid with them like making an impenetrable force field around his suit, or making a giant fuckoff beam saber powered by souls.
Plus even with all the shit and wars he's gone through, he still manages to find hope in Humanity.
Even if he won't live long enough to humanity come together, he still believes in their potential.
I just think he's a great guy.If Celestial Being was an entity in UC, he probably would have fought against Setsuna and company.

Another bad review from ANN "critics" that have no idea what they're talking about.
>>15262290
Another pointless thread from an anon who thinks we care.
I'm really not interested in reading that link, but I do think F91 was actually a really entertaining, compact Gundam story. I think people just mainly complain about it because of the loss of the intended series it replaced.
It's leagues better than Char's Counterattack anyway.
>>15262290
You should take it to ANN OP. Or someone else who actually cares.
Looking for pictures of all the mecha from this series, especially the ones that aren't the main one.

I knew Walkure would be the one thing that managed to justify Delta existing.
There's nothing wrong with Delta, western otaku just have shit taste.
>>15261091
Most of Walkure's music sucked, and the ones that didn't outright suck didn't have staying power.
>>15261095
>There's nothing wrong with Delta
No, there's a fair amount of things wrong with Delta. Walkure's alright though

Why was this so bad?

it was a movie instead of a 13 episode OVA

Why is OP such a faggot?
Why is this so bad?
It's okay. They have the balls to kill off certain characters unlike other gundam series where they kill some lame person who showed up for one or two episodes.
Weak entry overall down there with Age but the deaths do hit you hard
They barely pilot shirtless.
STOP POSTING
SHITPOST ALERTresponding shitposting with shitposting, it's like equivalent of someone shouting ,,be quiet"
How can any other character design even compete?
Why hasn't Japan fully embraced the THICC? Why do they like their skeleton women?
Fat people are gross
>>15256140
Fat people are cuddly.
Anorexic people and veiny body builders are gross.
Normal people are fine.
It's been over a decade since we last had a good anime dedicated to dogfights. Why is this such a niche anyway? The only alternatives to Macross I can think of are Yamato, Yukikaze and that Honneamise sequel that will likely never get off the ground.
>>15255008
There's Area 88 from like a decade ago, the latest version at least
>>15255008
It's a niche because planefags are a small market and animating good dogfights takes a ton of time and know how that is almost completely lost these days.
>>15255241
That's a shame. I would think that with how popular Star Wars and Top Gun are in Japan that fighter jets futuristic and current would be something that would hold their interest even in animation, but alas.
At its worst, it feels try-hard edgy and dumb, or kind of gross in an "I don't really share Nagai's fetishes" kind of way. The 80s "we're seinen now, time to go full edge" run has a bunch of this.
At its best I love the hell out of it. Sheer inventiveness and no-fucks-given hyper-violent weirdness that perfectly embodies what made Nagai great.
The Kanto earthquake arc at the beginning is amazing, I'd go as far as to say "Devilman-tier" in both pros and cons. The character interaction can be questionable but the sense of build-up is wonderful and it all shows great sense for visual storytelling. Like when the earthquake starts and the off-kilter paneling is gets across the violent tremors.
>>15254998
It feels so genuinely... desperate I actually found myself genuinely disturbed reading it. Not because of "le edgy gore" but because it was emotionally messed up.
>>15255002
The story execution feels outright biblical at times the same way Ishikawa's Majuu Sensen did (though less literally)
