I'm not much of a gunmans. I don't own any guns at the moment, and I've only ever been in a shooting twice and not any time in the last ten years. Guns are not a thing I love or hate or really give much thought to, and I'm only passingly familiar with the extremely classic gun memes. Outside of a few MGS codec calls (back when those were fucking awesome) I don't really know much about guns and I probably couldn't tell the difference between a glock that explodes in your hand and one that doesn't. (classic? meme.)
That said, I've always had kind of a crush on the p90, I suppose purely for aesthetic reasons (those are some curves I want to fuck). I've come into some cash recently, and I've been thinking about buying a p90. Maybe as an entry into the hobby. I remember hearing great things about them specifically as a platform and bullpup designs in general (and that was a part of the love affair). But I don't really hear anything about them recently. Maybe I'm not in the right places anymore, whatever. So I decided to challenge my preconceptions that the p90 is a great gun. I typed "P90 sucks" into youtube, and mostly got videogame results, one workout video, and a vid shitting one bullpups in general that I can't get through without laughing because five minutes in I'm hearing a hypothetical situation that, based on general 4chan knowledge, I imagine to be a regular story on /k/ about clearing rooms during home defense because you don't want your grandma sold into sex slavery.
tl;dr
Rate the p90 as a gun. Tell me the pros and cons of the platform. Sell me on why I should or should not get one. And no, I don't believe that the p90 should be used for sniping. I had to look for a topic image and figured this was among the most ironic outside of anime.

Can a round go off if it falls flat on the ground? I was cleaning my .44 today and as I was unloading it, one of the rounds fell out of my hand and it went straight to the ground (hard ceramic floor), my cousin saw it and immediately ducked and covered his ears, then called me an idiot and told me how the round could go off like that. I very much doubt it but I don't know everything. Is it possible for the round to go off like that? just falling completely flat on its back on the ground?

Regardless of practically, how would you set up a compound for "combat" inside 60 yards?
How many FPS would you shoot for? Prefer heavy or light arrows? A higher poundage for more speed or lower for faster ROF? Drop away rest or wisker biscuit?
It's interesting to muse over these sorts of things. In games and movies bows are almost overpowered but in practice is a different story.
If a durr jumps the string at 25 yards, whats to say an alert man at 50 doesn't?

But bows aren't silent, especially fast modern compounds. Crossbows, in my experience, approach 22 rifles in loudness (not quite but still definitely noticeable).
A bow shooting like 320fps is going to have a flight time to a target 50 yards away of still under a second, but 50 yards is a pretty far shot for a target who is alive, moving, and could easily kill you as well. At more "whitetail" ranges of 25-35 yards, that's a pretty short distance for a weapon that relys on bleeding to kill. You might alert them to your presence and be killed, for them to bleed out a minute after they were shot.
If it had to be used as such, a bow could be a weapon in guerilla warfare I suppose, for a distraction (shoot a guard and his screams draw attention) or to set shit on fire from further away. But you bring a gun to a gunfight, not a bow.
