>Veterans who believes that not everybody should be able to own guns
>>33224498
>veterans who believe that they are gun experts even though they were pogs who only touched a gun during basic
they're right
felons with violent crime convictions and admitted mentally unstable people shouldn't be anywhere fucking near guns
>>33224498
they've spent their time getting shot at by illiterate inbred farmers, then have to go do it again in the middle East. Can't exactly blame them.
What new urban weapon things are you expecting to happen at Berkeley? I mean homemade weapons from both sides.
- Copying from ISIS, a drone carrying skunk juice, releasing them overhead when people bunch up.
- Dubstep on loudspeakers
- Harder sticks
- Clankers
>>33224418
Has command and conquer been wrong yet?
>>33224418
It's going to get ugly fast, probably just from one or two people per side, but you already saw from the confiscated weapons that some faggot had rusty nails in a 2x4. It's one thing to swing a dowel rod at someone, quite another to stab them with rusted AIDS nails.
Anybody bringing potato cannons?
/k/ Are there shotguns you can load shells in through the top instead of the bottom? If not, why not? Seems easier to load shells this way.
>>33224360
some yes but it requires you to look down the barrel while having your big toe on the trigger
>>33224412
That's not a good answer you stupid faggot.
>>33224360
you would have to mount the magazine over the shotgun, which means your sights are on the magazine instead of the body.
It probably could be done, but it's no better/easier/faster than having the magazine under the barrel.
Are combat boots issued by the US military (i guess USMC and Army to be more specific) steel toed? Would they be comfortable enough to plow a field or harvest crops for the day? Because I found some used combat boots at the Surplus store that was about $30-40 bucks, cheaper than new work boots.
Pic sort of related, steel toed bunny slippers.
>>33224321
only steel goes ones are tankers boots. you wouldn't want steel toes in most combat boots.
they require an extensive break in period, but after that they fit like a condom.
>and feel better
>>33224369
Thanks! I'll keep that in mind!
>>33224321
>USMC
>steel toed
No.
>comfortable enough to plow a field or harvest crops for the day?
Probably. I wore the shit out of mine until the soles melted off fighting wildland fires.
I've been shooting 1911's for a few years now and I'm starting to look into more high-end stuff. Been looking at the Springfield Custom Distinguished Classic, which retails for around $4K. Anyone have any experience with Springfield Custom? What other high end 1911 makers should I consider for around the same price? Or are expensive 1911s a waste of money?
Pic related - about 4 days from ordering one of these.
>>33224088
Can't go wrong with a Springfield Custom, at least couldn't back in the day.
As for other brands, I'd recommend having a look at Wilson Combat, Les Baer, Ed Brown, Nighthawk etc. they make models both in and below your price range. Saving up some more might net you a full custom pistol like an Heirloom Precision, but I wouldn't if I wasn't absolutely sure I wanted one.
I have about half of what you have in disposable gun money, so I'm defaulting to a Baer (not that I'm complaining)
>>33224088
I'm sure that's a nice gun and top shelf 1911s aren't a waste. But if I was spending that kind of dough it sure as shit wouldn't be on a Springer.
If I were going to sink that much into a 1911 it's going to have a pony on it and none of that angled serration shit.
>>33224656
>If I was going to spend that kind of money I'd get a Colt
The fuck is the matter with you? If you're spending 3-5k on a 1911 it's probably going to be a Wilson, Les Baer, or Ed Brown.
>Luger video
>Has this flag instead of the Nazi flag
Is he just a politically correct cuck or is there a reason for this?
The luger predates the Nazis. Also, Youtube automatically removes his thumbnails with the any Nazi flag.
>>33224029
The Luger is a product of the German Empire, dummkopf
>>33224029
>P-08 Luger
>adopted in 1908
>developed even earlier
Are you actually retarded?
OK /k/.
I want a new gun. I'm wouldn't mind a magnum revolver as I'm moving to the woods soon. Everyone I talk to says "Buy at least a .44" it will help stop the bears.
A .44 is nice but what do you guys think?
Im turning 21 soon and would like to start learning about revolvers as well, although not for defense most likely. have a bump.
>>33223432
Are you moving to bear country or what? If not, I would get a 686+ or GP100 in 357magnum.
>>33223670
Bear Country. Yes.
Out in the bush every weekend? No.
Magnum casing? Bigger than .44?
What do I need?
Is this gun monetarily worth it? It's sexy as all hell
Bump for interest
>>33223602
>>33223344
Paying more than $1,000 for an AR is pointless unless you're just buying it to prove you can, and not because you're interested in becoming actively...active with it.
>>33223344
Just buy a parallax tactical rail and slap it on any shitty AR if you're just going for the look-cool-factor
Kommando Radio Thread
We have a bit of an update for you, but first, we need your help to expand our roster of correspondents, contributors, and shitposters. As some of you may already know, /k/ radio is moving out of the basement and going legit. We have already invested a pretty hefty sum of our own money. Our server is on it’s way, our business internet line is being installed, and we are now looking at improving our content. We have a broad range of programming in the works, and having some help with news content will help us significantly. There have been some changes to the Kommando Bulletin, now called the Kommando News.
Our news content is going to work as follows:
>We will run our full-blown Kommando News show as usual, on Monday nights on soundcloud, hosted by Dave and featuring contributions by ̶t̶o̶p̶ ̶j̶o̶u̶r̶n̶a̶l̶i̶s̶t̶s̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶i̶r̶ ̶r̶e̶s̶p̶e̶c̶t̶i̶v̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶e̶l̶d̶s̶ any kommando who wants to help out that doesn’t sound like shit.
>News Bulletins will be shorter news updates focused on one or two stories that will be streamed once per hour with our regular rotation of music on our radio station.
>>continued
>>33222911
There will be two kinds of people recording for us, contributors and correspondents.
>Contributors:
Contribute what you can, when you can. You are not bound to any minimums, and as long as your submissions meet our Standards and Practices rules then we’d be happy to use your content. In fact, we’d be ecstatic to have your help.
>Correspondents:
The heavy hitters, who regularly contribute to the Kommando News, and upload an two or three Bulletins a week. In exchange for being bound to easy to meet minimum content guidelines we will give you a percentage of the LLC (Oh yeah, we're LLC-ing). We’re thinking two stories a week for the Kommando News, and three one minute long (without intro and outro music) Bulletins.
Of course, we wouldn't want to have you guys work without compensation. At the moment we have very little to offer. But we will be throwing free t-shirts, stickers and patches at you. In the future, (we’re hoping within a year) we will be able to put cash in your pocket. Would'nt it be nice to shitpost AND get paid? We would obviously be looking at our contributors and correspondents for these (eventually) paid positions.
To pay for costs associated with running, and pay for stories, we'll be doing a few fundraisers and selling some merch (the above mentioned t-shirts, stickers, and patches).
If you'd like to help, shoot me an email at [email protected] with you reading any /k/-related news story, and we'll go from there.
>>33223006
*shoot me an email with a recording of you reading any /k/ related news story (typo, whoops)
>"Now Ivan, why in the world would you LLC?"
Well, originally the idea was to form a non-profit, but with the ease at which the political climate in United States can change, we thought it best to form something privately controlled that can pay it’s taxes (which is theft), and not be shut down by the IRS. By no means are we using this to make money for ourselves. However, we intend to turn a profit so that we can improve our quality and provide more content, as well as not rely on the infrastructure of other entities. In addition, it would be really REALLY cool to pay a "bounty" for the well-made content we are asking the community to provide. We already have a BIG /k/ exclusive giveaway planned, and will continue to do giveaways, merchandise sales, and support events like Nuggetfest and Arkadia Ranch. We love you all, and we intend to prove it.
So to summarize:
>We're looking for new reporters
>We have purchased a server to replace our current hosting situation (which can definitely be better)
>We will be totally redoing the radio's music, which we'll be asking for your help with soon
>Our website is down for a redesign, should be up by this weekend
>We're LLC-ing in order to pay you, make giveaways, and support IRL meetups
I'd say check out kommandoradio.com but... pardon our dust. Give us a shout at @kommandoradio on twitter though.
Go die in a fire. This board is shit enough without eleventy different PewDiePie wannabes spamming their radios, kiks, discords, streams, YouTube channels, and everything else.
You faggots are cancer.
The firing pin on the roach rifle I just got is bent and chipped and won't strike the rounds at all. Will standard gewehr 98 firing pins work since they have almost identical bolts?
>>33222812
Which model of Turkish Mauser do you have? Not all use the same action length.

Can anyone tell me what the bottom black rifle is? Pretty sure it's a .223
>>33222751
That's a Sig FAMAS knockoff, worth about $350.
Looks like a Beretta AR-70 by the photo.
>>33222751
sorry to hear about your dad. he left you some interesting things, the bottom black rifle is a beretta ar70. id love to get one of those.
Hey /k/ommandos, I need some help. I have to go to Mexico for six weeks to do some work. I have to install machinery in Rio Bravo. This is prime drug war territory.
Normally I would of course carry a weapon if I had to go into such a hellhole. But I have to stay in Texas at night so I have to cross the border twice a day. If the taco benders catch me with a gun or knife it would mean big problems because that kind of shit is illegal down there.
So, I need some advice on benign objects that can be used as a weapon in a last-ditch effort to survive. Also, advice on how to dress/behave in a shitty border town would be awesome too. I have until May to prepare for this. Please help me out /k/, I'd like to come back after six weeks in one piece.
Tips
>Blend in
>A pinata stick makes a pretty formidable weapon, and is commonly seen.
>Offer them your Woman or some Cerveza (beer), to calm their nerves.
>Hola means both "Hello" and "Goodbye"
Come on man this shit is serious. Best thing I can think of is a screwdriver or wrench or some other tool I would normally have as a machine installer.
>>33222661
Ive lived in Central Mexico for 2 years and travelled the country alot, however never made it North, due to the narco "problem".
Is your company/employer not going to guarantee your safety?
Either way. As you said yourself, dont bring a knife/gun, since you would end up doing 7 years jail time in a Mexican hellhole prison.
If I were you, Id just bring a decent hammer/wrench (since youre doing work there). Noone is going to question you for tools. That being said, if you run into cartel problems, youre fucked either way, but I assure you that unless youre very very unlucky, they dont fuck with gringos. They are a multi-billion dollar business at war with the Mexican Army and US agencies, they dont benefit from fucking with random Americans doing official business there.
As to dressing behaving:
>shirt
>jeans
>boots (if youre from the South)
>hat
Be polite, but confident. Mexicans respect Americans who are polite, but they take advantage of scared push-overs.
All in all, I wouldnt stress about it m8. Mexico is actually quite safe for a white American, unless you go looking for trouble, or youre very very unlucky by being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
How hard would it be to build a SALCOS guided missile from scratch? Considering most legacy missile systems like the TOW and Milan were designed in the 1960s, the design should be easy to replicate. With the plethora of miniaturized electronics avaliable today, taking some off the shelf parts and putting them together should be pretty easy. So /k/ how do I make a Anti tank missile?
>>33222589
if its so easy you ought to be able to do it, faggot.
>>33222589
No need to be mean, I'm just proposing an idea. Some dude from New Zealand built a cruise missile a couple years back.
>>33222589
These guys have an interesting idea. Just a model rocket but similar principle.
Memes aside, what is /k/'s actual opinion on what he says?

I like him, would prefer the NRA not using him as a token black parading him around saying "look we have black people in the NRA!" tho.

*gives him a snickers bar
*he stops being a diva and turns back into a little cuck /b/tard neckbeard on /k/
is he compensating for something
