Any enlisted airmen here? How was your job pick, did you get what you wanted? I need 9 AFSC's and I can barely get 5. I'm getting pressure from my recruiter to go to MEPS and swear in already but the uncertainty is hard to swallow.

I don't really have a preference. The only semi auto I've shot (and the only pistol I own) is a Ruger mark 1, and the trigger doesn't bother me.

I never shot the Jericho, but I fingerfucked one at a gunshow. I did not like the grip (hump and fingergrooves) and I found the polymer frame to be extremely cheap looking - Glock and Walther have much better finished frames. The Jericho is probably sturdy but it doesn't look good.

What is the best kind of gun safe to get for a man with young children?
I live alone in my house so I can walk around in my boxers and jerk off in the kitchen. I am the Lord of my Temple. However my brother is one of those functional normal people that got married at 23 and has had a kid every year like a Christmas tradition. I have been trying to get him to accept a pistol for daily carry and HD but he refuses because of the 4 goblins he has running around falaciating everything not bolted down.
So I plan on getting him a safe to make him feel safe. What are so good basic and absolutely rock solid no chance in hell kids could open but can still be opening quickly pistol gun safes?

Is carrying a box cutter really that weird compared to a pocket knife? I own some knives, but they get dull and sometimes I just don't want to mess with sharpening them. A box cutter can do the same thing as a knife, and you can just replace the blade on them when they dull. Also in my experience a box cutter has a sharper edge on the blade than a knife does, aside from being given weird looks I don't see how a knife out classes a box cutter. The only thing a knife has is aesthetics going for it, I mean if you want to carry around a "cool" looking knife to get attention, that's fine I suppose.
Hell, a multi-tool probably is better than a pocket knife.
