Is there any way to approach oil, gauche or watercolor with this digital painting approached? It has its pros and cons, but I feel it would be an easy to get used to manipulating paint mediums. Is it as simple as doing an underdrawing in graphite and building up on light layers of paint?

Sorry, the painting classes I've taken at university have been garbage, I don't think glazing was ever mentioned but I've heard it elsewhere, I think. So I could just do an underlayer in acrylic and "glaze" with oil in color?

no you cant just do with any oil. you need specific pigments. thats why theyre labeled transparent, semi transparent or opaque sonny.

Sakimikichan( or whatever the fuck) started on DA, but didn't she explode in popularity when she started posting on Tumblr?
I know many artists ideally want the best social media that can give them the most exposure, and while Tumblr may be the most popular, I don't think it is the best, atleast for artists.
Also, its 2017 and they still don't have a more efficient search engine or a better system for looking at likes. You have to filter out irrelevant posts just to get to worthwhile art work, if there is any at all. Sometimes the artists don't even tag their work. On DA its mandatory to atleast categorize your submission.
I have over 3K likes on tumblr. I don't want to endless scroll through all that stuff. DA and Pixiv atleast implement a grid based viewing system to make things easier so you can go back and look at your favorite images.
