A formula using an acceleration deemed a permissible, and the distance between two stations.

I just wanted to have a new frontend for encfs.
I hate KDE so fucking much.

At least with Gnome you can install some programs that don't pull in half of the fucking desktop.

i5-7600 or i5-6500?

Which is better? I'm reluctant to go with the 7600 because from what I've read it doesn't support W7?

You can probably build your own for slightly cheaper with even more juice with an alfa usb network card or two (rtl8187) attached to a raspberry pi or something similar.
Battery packs arent hard to do either, a good amperage usb battery bank should do well enough.

Tech companies have been pushing VR pretty hard in 2016 but it's 2017 and I'm not seeing much VR related technology actually being distributed and used.

Is VR a flop?

One would have thought with the low cost of Google glass and the abundance of UHD phones that it would have been much more popular at least.
16 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
It's premature. Neither the processing silicon nor the battery tech is ready yet.
>>
Nintendo Switch will save VR
>>
So there's the "stick your phone in this headset" stuff and there's stuff like the Vive.

The former is a flop because it's a gimmick. That Google seriously distributed a product called Cardboard should have given that away. Yeah phones are getting better and all but you've really gotta stop and think about this like a typical consumer. Are they really going to blow $50 on this big visor thing which will probably get used for one evening before the novelty wears off?

The latter is pretty great but it's not within the grasp of most people. You need somewhat decent PC hardware to drive it and enough open space to really immerse yourself into it. That limits market growth, which in turn slows the push you're talking about.

I still have faith in VR. We're just not at the point yet where it's grab 'n' go.

No, serious question. I don't get it. Why am I getting 10% of the performance as windows. Why do linuxfags think this is acceptable?

I normally always do, but for some reason they are forcing me to write this internship report in doc/docx format, in Times New Roman all across the document and with a specific font size.

For some reason it takes me much longer to write in a WYSIWYG editor compared to how fast I do in a plain text editor writing for LaTeX.
