How fast can a Train theoretically go?

Theoretically?
c
Practically?
343.21 meters per second IMO.
>>58765121
As fast as the centripetal force of gravity will allow
Or until it melts from air resistance
>>58765121
A formula using an acceleration deemed a permissible, and the distance between two stations.
>>58765189
Why? There are land vehicles faster than mach 1
bout tree fiddy
>>58765233
You see a lot of passengers or cargo on these vehicles?

This fucking meme has gone too far
>>58765278
it has no brakes It can not be stopped
>>58765299
No seriously. The point of the meme was to make Schulz seem popular, but apparently he really IS popular
>>58765265
You ever seen a concord in use?
>>58765313
I wouldn't call Concorde a "land vehicle", its cruising altitude is 60,000 something feet iirc.
I was watching a show on Discovery a few years ago where they presented an option of intercontinental travel via train, but using a tunnel dug thought the Earth, using gravity to drop and then stop the train. The tunnel however would be in a vacuum, so there would be no air resistance. The speed would be 28440 km/h or 42 minutes from one point to the other.

That's literally what hyperloop is
