Literally every site claims that killing background apps doesn't speed up your phone or improve battery life. Google maps was running slow on my friends iPhone and it sped up as soon as he killed the background apps. 1st gen iPhones/pods didn't have a task manager and I can't remember them running slow except for when their storage maxed out. Who is decieving me
Phones have constantly been getting better. It's toddler pretend phones (iPhones) that have been getting worse.
Let's run down the list
Android phones let you:
>have real encryption with no backdoors
>download over 100MB over mobile data
>install a third party app launcher and icons
>use it as a flash drive
>share any kind of file over wifi/bluetooth
>torrent via torrent clients in the playstore
>install apps outside the playstore
>modify a few system settings to increase performance and decrease battery drain
>manually control complex camera functions via third party apps
>natively browse files
>view better colors via amoled displays
>browse 4chan and natively open webms inside them via third party apps
>extract/browse archives
>add additional phone storage via a micro SD card
>replace the stock battery with a bigger one
>add widgets to your home screen
>access important functions by swiping down
ALL WITHOUT HAVING TO HACK YOUR PHONE
You can spout all the "lagdroid XDddd---" memes you want but Android phones truly are more advanced than itoddler phones and the reason why they hold over 90% of the global smartphone market share right now.

Sounds like fun.
And a total waste of time. I've got better things to do than endlessly "ricing" my phone for menial benefits.
>>58760762
Yeah, lag and constantly having to reload shit is the bomb huh?
Was about to buy a Dell xps 13 but realized it may be a huge waste.
Want something to keep up with emails and code away from my PCs.
Is there a go to Brand or series for simple usage?
If i want long battery life what screen size/ cpu is good enough?
Was going to get the i5 xps 13.
>>58760505
Whatever fits your needs but if email and code.
Any laptop would do.
But if it's for traveling and working away from home I'd advise keeping it small 11-14" format would be best.
>>58760505
>If i want long battery life
T560 + extended battery
>>58760505
>what screen size/ cpu is good enough?
Literally anything in the last 5 years.
>>58760505
xps 13 is great enough for your purpose.
Nice battery life and great and portable laptop.
Totally worth.
>the "cloud"
>literally just an optimized server

Nope.

yea the cia niggers dont want us to see it
A war vet gave me 2 CDs and said that he couldn't ever get his pictures off of them and he would like to get them off so he could see them again (These are his pictures from when he was deployed)
All I've been able to tell is that they were made in Roxio and I haven't been able to find a free program that could read them
>>58760180
Try Imgburn. No idea if it will work, but maybe it can read whatever image it is.
It is an image, right?
Trying with ISObuster now
It gives me a lot of bad sector errors but so far seems to show that its found the files
Now lets see if extraction works
Did you try turning it on and off?
>follow /g/ advice to employ myself in programming
>learn data structures, algorithms, Haskell, C and Go
>look into my local market
>most job postings are for corporate Java software or webdev in PHP
>the very few job postings for the stuff /g/ told me to learn require +5 years of experience
You fucking trolled me /g/. Nobody will hire me because I don't have a college diploma, I wasted 2 years learning this shit while I could have spent less time learning pajeet languages and I'd have a job right now.
>>58760136
lie on your resume, talk to people and try to find a job locally, or be prepared to move
>>58760136
"What language should I start with to learn programming?"
"What language should I learn to get a job?"
Two different questions, mate.
>>58760136
>follow /g/ advice
follow this one and kys
>be me
>be in CE class with my jock friends
>suddenly one of the goofy looking people comes and sits next to me
>goofy kid pulls out his thinkpad and boots into Linux Mint
>what a hacker.jpg
>open my macbook and start Arch
>goofy kid starts crying and all we jocks laugh at him
same
When I realized I was too old to care about what other people think and say about me.
When I just simply don't care about anything happening around me.

Who would melt down after this...
Greetings.
Cheaper 200-series mobos are very scarce, and there aren't any H210 (or whatever they will call the H110 equivalent) mobos on sale yet. As such, the Celerons are still the same.
Your comments, comments, and criticisms are welcome.

I've been here since duo2cuo I just want a simple answer to catch up, sorry.
Completely flunked out of an Amazon online test.
First program the output was off by 2 the second program was half done.
This would have been life changing and I should probably kill myself.

Nice blog! Where can I subscribe?
Don't worry, they'll email you again in 6 months begging you to come in for an interview then never respond to any of your messages ever again.

I'd like to learn how to make a good website. I'll start with a personal website. I already know the basics of HTML, but I'd like to know more about how to make a good layout, arrange content, use divs, etc. Does anyone know a good book or resource on how to make a website?
>>58759790
It is called "Web Design".
>>58759801
Rereading, that comes off as a bit "asshole"-ish. I apologize.
Google "good books on web design". /g/ will not know, because we do programming, not design.
