Hello, I need help.
My hdd doesn't mounts.
I've done ddrescue from the end to file.
I've also done ddrescue from beginning to another file (this part is too small).
How I can connect this two parts to one?
I've restored photos and videos from files with photorec tool, I've also restored a lot of another things, but I have problem.
I need to restore one tar.gz file.
I have part of this after photorec, but this tar.gz is crashed.
I know date of the file and the name, which photorec gived to restored file. Do I have any way for manual restoring of this tar.gz? or what I can do with ddrescued's files with any another tool for this tar.gz?
So main problem is in recovery of one this tar.gz file, what I can do?

Which project should I do parallel to reading Cormen which will cover the book as well as help in the project?
I always forget sorting algorithms except merge sort.
So I am thinking doing a project would make me connect my theoretical synapses with practical one making it subsconsiously persistence.

tell me /g/, Im using Ubuntu now for a pretty long time and the only thing really making me go back go an other os is the bad support for docx/xlxs files or textfiles in general. How does it come that such a developed OS doesnt have something equivalent to Word who doesnt fuck up my files all the time?
And sure I could use LateX, I could use Vim and I could use other things, but its not that easy in a work enviroment where most people use Windows.

Honestly I have no fucking clue about that stuff. I lost the silicon lottery with my 6700k, it's not possible to push it past 4.5Ghz so I went for OC'ing my budget ass RAM.
Worked out pretty well. According to the meme site that is UserBenchmarks my RAM is now in the 100th percentile for this exact type, I guess I won the silicon lottery with my RAM.

I'm working with a toaster here. I have both a Q9550 and a Xeon 5472 CPU resting on my desk. I have a motherboard which only supports ddr2, I don't know if MBs have a clock frequency and a specific criteria to fit with the other hardware pieces.
I'm working with a supposed 550W power supply.
I'm looking at a few graphics cards and I don't know which will work best for my toaster.
4GB, 2GB, 1GB DDR3 128-bit
2GB DDR5 128-bit
I was also looking at some 64 bit cards, but I don't think they'll survive very long.
