Help me out here, /fit/. I'm 19, and I haven't touch a drop of alcohol in quite a while because every time I do, I always get really down and anxious afterwards, no matter how much I hydrate or how much I moderate my intake.
I feel like I'm missing out, though. Is there any way for me to avoid this? Is this just how my body chemistry works? Is drinking even worth it?
Thanks in advance for the help.

You're not missing out on anything. If you don't enjoy drinking just don't drink
>>41785670
You know you can still go out and socialize right?
I get the same as you day after drinking so I quit totally as well. I'm out in clubs and at parties all the time, sober, nobody actually gives a fuck, heck most of the time people don't even notice.
Also going out sober you will actually increase your social skills gains faster than if you've been drinking

Try phenibut instead
>tfw youre doing gomad and you still have half gallon left

I got RSI in my shoulder and hand. What are some stretches or exercises that help?
Anyone?
Dorway stretches for shoulder, work on strengthening your rotator cuff, (side lifts and shit). Put ice on rest, and warm up before exercising. It's mainly about strengthening tendons, go see a physiotherapist
Is it easier or harder for women to gain muscle?
>>41785543
Much harder, but that just means muscle girls have quality determination.
>>41785543
What are you, a retard or something?
Easier ofc. Everything in life is easier for women.
Is there a point in Deadlifting that you can let your form be a little sloppy? Such as setting a new personal best? Or should a person just have strict form no matter what? Is form in this video good, or could it be better? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIyMluMPJrc
>>41785485
The form in that video is bad. The person doing the deadlifts keeps hitching (bending the knees underneath the bar so the weight can go up). That's an indicator that the person is lifting more weight than they can handle. The guy's also bouncing the weight, which is not how to deadlift. If you want to gain strength and maintain a not fucked up spine, always perform your lifts with proper form, especially if you're using heavy weight.
Your form is always going to break down up to a point when setting a PR. What's important is not letting your form degrade so much the quality of the lift becomes suspect. As long as it counts on the platform, that's what matters.
>>41785485
What's wrong with him? Why is he moving like that when picking up the bar?
What is a good lunch i can eat at work and nutritious snacks?

Hello guys, I've always been kinda bulky. I'm 19 and I can't really lose this fat around my belly. I've had it all my life, no matter what sport I did. I used to swim when I was in middle school and actually won a few gold medal, then I went to the gymn and I reached the goal of 100kg in the raw bench during a competition (one push up only) But still, belly fat wont go down. Any tips? I also tried cutting down carbs completely but it just got me weak as fuck. I never eat fast food, I always cook shit up, usually carbs at lunch, pasta mostly (yes I'm italian) and meat at dinner, mostly local meat. Can you please suggest me anything? Thanks

>dem hips don't lie
a)build obliques
b)go skelly
c)trap mode
>>41785161
To lose belly fat you need to lower your overall body fat percentage. As someone who was chubby for a while and now has relatively visible abs what worked for me is maintaining a high protein diet (Sticky - 1g/lb of body weight per day) at a calorie deficit (500 calories per day under your TDEE is 1 lb weight loss per week). Make sure to lift 3-4 times a week as well, focusing on maintaining or even improving how much you lift in order to preserve the muscle you currently have, so your weight loss is primarily fat loss.

How do I know if my technique is on point? I work out alone, no one ever comments. I watch videos and it feels right, but I'm not actually sure.
It's called "form"
>>41785031
Okay... how do I know if my form is on fleek?
get a mirror and try to pay attention to your posture as best you can. but as an amateur dont go hardcore heavy with weights, because if your form is off its safer to be lifting a reasonable amount than trying to max out.

A bunch of wizards from /r9k/ came here thinking that lifting would help them find a gf and now they pretty much run this board. HiroshiJew should just make /fit r9k/ so they can just fuck off since every thread now is just,

i regulary pinch a nerve around the shoulderblade/rhomboid area when i try to work on my posture/upper back.
is there any exercice that can help with this?
>>41784825
What's your arm position when you feel the impingement? From the information you gave, I would recommend face pulls. They helped me a lot with shoulder issues
>>41784825
Deep tissue bro get a lax ball and start rolling it
>>41785576
This.
I just want your opinion guys.I I'm 30 and I started working out five moths ago. I try to eat healthy as much as possible. This is my progress after take creatine for 2 moths and a Gainer for one moth. Do you think is a good progress or I need to work more.
Thanks in advance
>>41784823
looking good. keep doing what you're doing
HEIGHT?
STARTING WEIGHT?
CURRENT WEIGHT?
in any case, you need to work more.
>>41784823
The lighting in the pictures is very different. You'll see more definitive progress at 6 months provided you eat at a surplus and follow a good beginner program
