I'm going to warn you now - Traviss's run is so boring that it got cancelled midway through its 12-issue story because nobody was buying it. It doesn't even really wrap up, it just... ends.

So, for some reason Traviss fixated on Siren and her son from the end of volume 3. You know, those characters who were important for all of 4 issues? Or maybe they're her pet OCs and Allor was just given early access, who knows.

Well, Traviss only found out that the series was ending at #8 when she'd already finished #7. There wasn't a lot of time to wrap it up.
(Incidentally, though, according to the pre-Revolution story Cobra collapses but GI Joe gets shut down anyway.)
