In theory, I like the idea of "creepy cult leader and religious nutjob Serpentor", but he really needed the bombastic warlord personality of the cartoon version to go with it.

Also fuck you, classic Serpentor is great. He's a classic-style supervillian, which is exactly what GI Joe needs.
