Alright you shits. I need some sources on why wrestling is fake or why it's real. This shit board is absolutely disgusting so for once in your pathetic lives. Do something good.
Guaranteed replies!
it's 'fake' in the sense of, I'm not actually trying to break your neck when I use a Neckbreaker on you, and the result of the match is pre-determined.
it's 'real' in the sense of, getting dropped on your back, neck, and chest fucking hurts, and it damages wrestlers over time.
Wrestlers are performers. They simulate combat as a form of entertainment. But before heading out to the ring, every single aspect of the wrestling match is discussed: what moves will be performed, when they will be performed, and more importantly, who will win the simulated fight.
However, there are risks involved. Perhaps one of the wrestlers doesn't pull back as much as one would like on his punches. Or maybe a wrestler lands awkwardly after taking or giving a maneuver. These are the true, real hazards of professional wrestling.
They're talking this business back to where it belongs.....RULED BY THE LAND OF THE GIANTS.

Big Show's matches with Strowman were epic. Some of my favourite matches of the year. I read Big Cass interview saying he studies Kevin Nash because besides being a great worker he was a naturally cool big money draw. That's a good start. Now it's time for the real test against WORLD LARGEST ATHLETE. He must know this in his opportunity to shine. Can't wait for this TITANIC collision.
I didnt realize that dude was the same size as big show holy shit

>This is Big Cass and he's 7 feet tall
They say this literally every time he's in a match
>>2728703
Do these idiots realize the point of tape like that is to hold an icepack of some sort in place?
It looks like they wrapped Cass in masking tape for no goddamn reason

WWE just blew out NBA and the UFC this week. Blew them out of the water in terms of entertainment. The state of it

don't you have some cock to be sucking right now Rosenberg?
NBA yes (mostly because the winners are insanely obvious and every series has been a blow out except like 2) but that UFC card was way better than that piece of shit ppv.

Do you understand how small Kenny Omega actually is?
WWE'S ROCK STAR vs. THE BIG DOG.
>>2734220
Omega would be in the WWE to be a main eventer he would be the next Ziggler/Cien a great workrate guy who bring a good match out of anyone, that's where his value is, he's over in Japan because he speaks Japanese that wont translate in Major League.
>>2734222
Indie guys don't realize everyone but WWE uses a 16x16 WCW ring, where when they go to WWE the ring is 20x20 and you get a better perspective of their size.
You have two options. You can
>1) Make a fun match that lasts 20 minutes and has Brock Lesnar come out as the victorious dominant beast while making Samoa Joe come across as a million bucks in fighting as hard as he can until the end
Or
>2) Make a quick match where Brock Lesnar squashes Samoa Joe, barely giving him (if) any offense and making him come across as someone that is truly on another level compared to the WWE roster
Which one would you pick and which one do you think Vince will pick?
Honestly, I'm feeling optimistic and think that Vince will go with 1, as he should. Samoa Joe will lose but still give a pretty good fight to the bitter end.
>>2734102
>Which one would you pick
1
>and which one do you think Vince will pick?
2
Vince will pick 2 as he should. Sloppy Joe is a nobody and doesn't deserve the rub

>Ratings for this Tuesday's SmackDown were essentially even with last week, at 2.349 million viewers. That's down only 1,000 viewers from the May 30th show.
>The episode was sixth for the night on cable in terms of total viewers and first in the 18-49 demo with a 0.74 rating.
>There was no big sports competition last night with the NBA and NHL finals both not in action. The biggest competition was "America's Got Talent" on NBC, which did 12.5 million viewers head-to-head with SmackDown.

I like SD but those retards can't grow the brand like BRAJ did
What's the future of American professional wrestling?
WWE has by far the most talent of anyone but they're fixated on doing dumb shit constantly and signing people just other companies can't have them. Also has next to 0 continuity and treats the audience like they're loser morons with the memory of a housefly.
ROH was good for a while, they have a tv deal but their booker sucks and NJPW is slowly siphoning off their talent.
TNA...is actually putting on decent shows but their reputation is so toxic it will take years to fix it.
PWG is more popular than ever but seems perfectly content to be the indie showcase promotion that you have to attend to get the full perspective of.
Meanwhile, the U.K. scene is producing talent and growing rapidly. Japan has easily the best ringwork and is what all the wrestling 'hipsters' are latching on to.
And even Mexico is stepping their shit up, with CMLL adding English commentary and their ringwork getting better. Penta is a legit international draw.
Where does all this leave the US scene? What does the US pro wrestling scene do better than anyone else right now, if anything? The world has become a smaller place and it's easier than ever to watch international stuff, will the US be left behind?
Simple, there is no future.
>"WWE has by far the most talent of anyone" and posts Alexa Bliss as their representative...
Okada, Naito, Omega, and Tanahashi are much smoother in the ring than anyone in WWE. Don't even kid yourself. I didn't even mention Goto, Ibushi, Shibata, The Young Buck (better than every tag team in WWE in and outside of the ring), KUSHIDA (who is better technically than any WWE cruiserweight), Ishii (who would make any Stamford employee his bitch), AND Taichi!
Honestly this post is either ignorant or plain retarded.
>>2733927
Calm down there Captain New Japan, yes the top of NJ's roster is better but concerning who has the deeper talent pool it's WWE by far. They have sooo many skilled guys on there and most of them are either not being used or are cannon fodder for Roman.
Off the top of my head, Oney Lorcan, AJ Styles, Zayn, Nakamura, Owens, La Sombra, TJ Perkins, Neville, Aries, Kendrick, Tozawa, Balor, Rollins, Mustafa Ali, Chris Hero, KENTA, Gargano, Ciampa...all of those guys are world class wrestlers and most of them aren't doing shit.
I enjoy New Japan more than WWE but don't kid yourself into thinking that New Japan's roster is deeper than WWE's. It's not, it's just that New Japan does much more with less and is better at building guys up.
