Some hunters are just cruel killing mercilessly innocent and defenseless animals just for the "thrill" of it , I'm going to share the story of a different hunter, a hunter who has a heart, a hunter who respects animals and nature, A hunter who once heard the cries of a little confused and panicked deer , and without hesitation went to help. The deer had entered a garden build near the forest , afraid and panicked the little deer got stuck between a big metal object and a wired fence covering the garden, only crying for help , when the hunter saw what was happening without hesitation he went to help the poor thing by unstucking it and helping it get over the fence and going to the wild again, This man had saved the deer's life , he had saved even more lives because this man is also a doctor, his whole life is based around saving lives and helping other people, this man is called a hunter because only on Saturday his only day off he goes to the forest with a rifle which he has a permit for and mostly walks around and appreciates nature and all the beautiful things that are rarely seen in the civilized world, away from technology and civilization, the rifle he carries is for self defense and the only animals he kills are the predators like wolves, who kill and eat some of the shepherd's sheep and leave the poor shepherds without enough money to buy bread, so this man is a great man I know him personally he had saved many lives , so can we assume that all hunters are bad share some opinions and stories.

Here is a link to the video where he saves the deer, the poor thing sounds like a kitten or a puppy which makes it even more heartbreaking

I live in Wisconsin and deer over population is a real issue.

As long as the hunter legally hunts and only hunts during hunting season I don't think they're bad. Plus venison is fucking delicious.

It's less cruel than a slaughter house, at least the deer have a chance
>>
Congrats OP. You just described almost every first world hunter.
There's shitty hunters just as there are shitty pet owners or parents.

At least you can eat deer.
>>

Deer are pests here.
Faggots killed all the wolves, so now there's nothing to keep the deer in check.
Hunters pretty much have to murdle them.

So I just saw this on PlebTube... What do you guys think? I keep mine in a pretty simple set up, feed him varied diet of greens collard/kale/squash and discoid roaches. With some cage furniture and hammocks... This seems involved, which is fine, but is it a good idea?

Lads, I need your help.

Hey /an/ first time posting here. So since the past week, I have been hearing kitten meows in the narrow corridor near house and when I looked I only found a big black cat and kept hearing the meows after that so I just supposed it was the big cat causing it since the corridor doesn't have any hiding places.

Today, I decide to recheck it again fully after hearing the meows again but couldn't find anything until I noticed fur behind the water heater and I started tapping gently on the heater yet the fur didn't move so I started saying ksksks and suddenly the fur turns out to be the black cat and it had small kittens under it behind the heater.

I have always wanted to have a pet cat but my parents never allowed it but I think this time is my chance if it's God's will. How do I take one without making their mother angry? Should I wait for them to grow older? What if they left?

TL;DR found a bunch of kitten with their mom in my house and I want to have one as a pet, what's the best way to go about doing that?

You haven't provided much information at all, sorry. How old are the kittens, is an important one - taking one that's too young could kill it since they need their mothers milk.

And there's also a lot of effort that goes into adopting a stray cat, for all you know they could be riddled with parasites and diseases that'd require treatment before you take them in, otherwise your place could get infested with fleas or worse.

Mother cats in my experience aren't actually that protective of their babies as dogs and some other animals. If you can get them, just grabbing a kitten and getting it inside should be enough, I don't expect you'd be attacked at all unless you actively backed them all into a corner.
>>
>>2461883
Sorry about that. I think they're around week old at most since I only started hearing the meows a week ago plus they can't even open their eyes from what I've seen. Mother cat ran away when I got near her kittens so I was surprised because they usually don't let a person near their kittens.

>riddled with parasites and diseases
Can newly born ones have those too?

Sorry if it's sideways. Fuck my phone. Someone's cat caught this poor guy. No signs of wounds or blood. It was hopping around earlier so I don't think it has anything broken. I think it's in shock.

Should I keep this guy safe and warm or leave him outside somewhere? I don't want to stress it out any more by keeping it but leaving it alone could be bad too.

I usually let nature take its course but I feel bad because [insert controversial statement about outdoor cats here and how they effect the environment].

And no I won't be keeping it as in like a pet. I mean should I watch over the poor fellow til it recovers and set it free or just leave it somewhere now?

Did a bit of research. Apparently it was a kangaroo rat, I think. Had a long ass tail with fur at the end. I live in Sourthern Cali so those are native here.

The poor thing just passed. I gave it space and kept it as comfortable as possible. Noticed it had blood on its nose that wasn't there when I initially found it, and when I turned its head over it looked as if the jaw was caved in or broken or something. It didn't look right. I buried it somewhere. The cat can have it now, I guess.

I think I was way in over my head. Had it been the daytime, I would've driven it down to my local wildlife rehabilitation center. But it was like 1am when I found it.

It's not a shark. No sharks have 3 gils. Minimum is 5.
Also this shit is ugly as sin and looks like it was drawn with crayons by a 4 year old autistic child with no thumbs.

Great to watch them hatch and grow before dumping them in my aquarium as fish snacks.

I also thought it was weird that they are only sold in toy shops. I asked at a pet shop once why they don't stock them and the girl said "because they aren't real animals".

They are fun to raise though

>dark blue motherfuckers all over my shit whenever I try to go outside and water my plants
>asked leasing office if maintenance can take care of it or if I should do it myself
>four weeks and they haven't done anything about it
I think they're waiting it out so the hornets leave during winter. Cheaper than getting someone out here to do it.

With that said, how do I get rid of a hornet's nest that's flattened between a brick wall and an electrical box? Specialized spray or some sort of homemade stuff should work right? At night when they're dormant of course...

Looks more like mud wasp nests. They hunt for spiders and stun them with venom, and carry them back to the nest as living food for their larvae. The wasps are usually big and black, but mostly harmless unless you try to fuck with it.
