This is the issue I have. My dog destroys her toys within hours, even ones meant for heavy chewers. The few she wasn't able to break she lost interest in and never touched again.
I've found it cheaper to give my dog empty drink bottles to chew up. They entertain her for a day or two before I need to throw them out. And it's not like the small pieces of plastic are any worse for her to ingest then the piles of chewed up rubber and stuffing from "dog safe" toys.

I mean that's the best way for them to get the prize. Why would they wrack their brains trying to solve a silly foreign puzzle their species wasn't subjected to up until the last few hundred years when they can just use their powerful jaws to destroy it and get the prize anyway
