Wtf all people are talking about "white german shepards". You mean albinos or Berger Blanc Suisses? Because there are no white German Shepards or it's a thing in the Americas?
Enlighten me /an/
pic related, it's a "white german shepard" (Berger Blanc Suisse)
>>2466793
Some are white swiss shepherds and some are white german shepherds; but yeah, it's a thing in the americas because no one wanted to register the pretty color.

I'll suppose you're the same guy from the other thread, so I'll just post the same reply
I have a Berger Blanc Suisse, although as far as I know it's just a name thing.
I've read somewhere that calling it Berger Blanc Suisse or swiss Shepherd is just to claim it is a breed of it's own, while calling it white German Shepherd is to associate it with the GSD breed (as they were once considered GSD).
I usually call her WGS because normies only know three breeds at most, and German Shepherd is one of those, so they understand what breed my dog is.
Pic related, it's her
Here's a picture of my Husky/Lab. He is of no relation to this thread, besides being white, but I hope it will enlighten you in some way shape or form.
Do dogs get you laid?
>>2466743
Yes. Just remember to get consent from the dog before you fuck it.
No, I'm not a zoophile
I know cats don't.
If crows are so smart, I don't get how they can believe scarecrows are human.
Does the crow just agree to avoid fields with scarecrows because it's crow law passed down for many generations?
>>2466716
They know we put the scarecrow there to keep them away and they're super nice guys so they do.
>>2466716
They don't actually work on crows.
Could someone help me find out what's this?

Why is the fox the fire element?
About half an hour ago my cat (about 6 weeks kitten) jumped from my balcony (hight about 3,5m) onto the pavment below. I saw her run into the bushes in the garden, searched but she's nowhere to be found. Have to wait for nighbours to get back, so I can search their garden.
I found her 2 week ago, on my driveway dying. Rushed her to the vet and after a "CPR" and a night of statying in a warmer and drip, she was semi-fine.
She was a feral kitten, but about a week ago started purring. I feel like shit now.
Anyways, /an/, I saw her run after landing, but maybe it was adreanline?
Can a kitten jump from this hight on a hard surface and not get hurt?
If it can, how sevirly?
Any ideas as to where i should search for her or some tips and tricks.
Pic related, it's her
Maybe it's time to cut your losses anon, and get a cat that's less suicidal or stupid.
>>2466559
She was scared, but still pretty dumb, desu. I already have 3 other cats, all chill and I think I'm a pretty good owner. All of them have been on the same balcony before, noone even thought of jumping.
It was my first feral tho. I just want to find her

Find where they nest and pour boiling water down it
Show them compassion and humanity and eventually they will realise that it is time to move on.
>>2466410
Mix honey and borax and leave it in a dish near a trail. Swear by it. Works with roaches too. They'll carry it back to their queen and kill the nest
A few asked for more pictures on the original thread
Happy to oblige, albeit a century later.

Anyone want to give me some "must do/must think abouts" before buying a dog?
I have never had a dog before but I want to get one. Should I just get one and learn by doing?
>>2466052
No because you'll get one that is incompatible with your lifestyle and it will suffer or you will abandon it.
Things to think about:
>What is my regular activity level?
Many people get dogs thinking that they'll exercise more, but that hardly ever happens. (Emphasis on "hardly"- it's possible but those people are the exception). So being honest with yourself will prevent a couch potato from getting something like a Belgian Malinois.
>How often will I be home or able to take the dog out?
An old dogger can handle fewer outings or spend more time sleeping (and not chewing your stuff). A puppy needs more attention for training and being taken out for potty breaks. Many people want to start off with a puppy but fail too realize how much attention they require. Adopting a grandpa doggo can help you understand pet ownership without the additional puppy stress.
>What kind of living space do I have?
An apartment is better suited for small or low-energy dogs. Bigger and energetic dogs need more space.
>what are my cleaning habits like?
Some dogs shed way more, but if you're lazy about cleaning then prepare to have a disgusting house. If you don't clean often or don't like to clean period, get a low shedding breed.
>how much money can I save?
Probably the most important. If you can't make enough to start building up an emergency fund for vet visit, then you're not in a good spot for a dog.
>>2466087
Thanks.
What I'm most concerned about among these is my activity level. I'm not a lazy fuck who sit inside all the time, but I know I'm not the most active person either.
Are there dogs who will need shorter/fewer walks than others? I'm thinking that two-three walks everyday will be a bit much in my everyday life. I can easily handle a short morning poop and a good walk after I come home from work, but I don''t think I will handle a long walk in the morning, let alone three walks.
>>2466087
This is a good post
I'll add a few things. First you need to figure out what it do with the dog during the day. This can be a dog walker, doggy day care, or coming home during lunches. Some dogs can hold it for 8 hours while you're at work but it isn't optimal nor desired. Figure out what you'll do before getting a dog.
Second, start walking. Go on at least two 30 minute walks. If you are having a hard time finding time getting in these two walks or are being lazy about it, then reconsider getting a dog.
