What would I need to do in order to become one? Similar animal careers? What do you do to work with animals? I'm assuming there's a decent amount of schooling.
>>2475056
Most of the ones I've seen are just crazy old ladies that end up with a ton of animals they care for and people keep bringing them more. All of them have worked out of their home or farm.
>>2475056
you could work for your state's game and wildlife commission as conservation officer.
For school do things like environmental science, wildlife management, natural resources, etc.
What are some other careers that involve animals? Realistic ones
I have a cat in the neighberhood that comes to my house once or twice. She doesnt have a collar, but she belongs to someone cuz she has a chip in her right ear. But i noticed she has an injury in her eye. I suspect she was fighting one of the other cats in the street. But i am afraid that it could be an infection. Is there anyone who can tell what it is or give a suggestion what to do next?

Take it to the vet. We aren't magicians.

I remember reading about these as a kid. Always made me really sad how they supposedly eat all the grass around their plant and then die of starvation.
>>2474826
I still find it hilarious that this thing was dreamed up because Europeans couldn't comprehend cotton.
Could it be made into kebab?
there is a stronger bond between an animal and a human than that between a man and his dog?
>>2474813
The bond between you and skipping English classes is even stronger.

Why did you have your dick out around your cat?
My cat licked my eyeball once.
Found this queen today, Central Ohio, North America. Anyone know species well? I think it's a tetramorium but I'm not sure. Brown rings on its abdomen, two soft antennas.

Better pictures would help, but that doesn't look like an ant.
Best quality I can get
I wish a cat would adopt me ;_;
How do I make one pick me
Visit a shelter. Be approachable but not overwhelming. You may not come home with one after your first visit, but one will pick you eventually. You will feel a special magic feel when you know a cat's picked you.
>>2474556
Some cats are sluts though and will pick literally every human bean that comes close to it

Can we have a thread to appreciate the beautiful life of rainforests? Can be animals, plants, fungi, whatever. I feel like rainforest life is severely underrated, except for the PETA-ish activist propaganda.

Discuss ferrets and post pics please.
I'm impressed they got him to stand still long enough to get that photo.
>ferrets are the best none dog or cat
>endless hours of
>they stink to high hell
It's cruel. Their body odor is intolerable. I had three dumped on my porch as a teenager and I scrubbed out their litter box every time they used it and was scrubbing their cage up to three times a day almost every day. Putting them in our very ventilated screenhouse that was attached to our house wasn't even enough. It wasn't just their shit but just that ferret smell I couldn't get used too. Which is a fucking shame because they are amazing pets.
Also do people just not own ferrets anymore? Even in casual browsing of the internet no one seems to talk about them or pop up anymore. Even petstores here barely carry them anymore.
>>2474228
Depends on where you live, I work at a petstore and they sell real easy. I personally don't mind their smell but I wouldn't have time to socialize one as a pet. See them almost everyday anyway.
This Beauty lives in my room in Northern Germany. Does anybody know what kind this spider is?
>>2474186
Araneus diadematus
>>2474189
I thought of that too the "cross-spider" is quite common here. Thank you.
