What are some animal related jobs I could realistically get with zero professional experience except for some volunteer work with Fish & Wildlife Service? I have had pets since forever so I know how to take care of and handle animals but for some reason employers don't care about this unless a paycheck was involved.
You can start with volunteer work at a shelter or a pet hotel you'll probably start with cleaning cages and picking up shit but it's a start.
Eventually they'll need to hire someone new and you'll be the most experienced person they can easily contact.
Then you can move up past poop duty

The thing is I really need money so I don't want to do more volunteer stuff. But thanks.
>>2469939
Most shelters will usually take as much hired help as they can even regardless of work experience as long as you have experience with the animals they have period.
Though that's where I'm from and your area could be different, but the best you can do is go from place to place and ask around.
New to salwater and coral, found this on some live rock. Does anyone know what its called or anyting about it? Thanks 4chan!

How hard is it to pass an SPCA adoption application?
>>2469803
No.
You write your name on a piece of paper and they pass you.
I think the only thing they check for is whether or not you've adopted before. Most shelters are overbooked with animals and it's good for them to get one out of their hands
These pears have grown in my yard for the past 5 years. This is the ripest they get (they're falling off the tree). They're pretty firm and the fruit tastes just lightly sweet.
So why do they look like this? They look like they have pants on.
>>2469761
Also the "pants" feel like kiwi skin. The top feels like apple skin.
Looks like a failed attempt at planting the seeds from the genetic freaks you get in the fruit section at the supermarket
Howdy /mu/ came here earlier today looking for music suggestions to go along with my true crime reading. What music is there similar to the Forensic Files theme song? Is there a genre for that type of music?
Anything similar to that or like the x files or Coba or At First Light by Patrick O'Hearn would be great. Thanks
Not looking for anything fast paced or with distracting lyrics. Thanks guys

How the fuck did you confuse /mu/ for /an/?

Fuck me i'm retarded I meant /an/ for /mu/
Outdoor cats keep dropping toxoplasmosis infested shits in my garden and killing birds back there. Their owners obviously don't care about their well being, so it's safe to consider them pest animals. Is pic related the best low cost selective poison? Does anyone have any experience with this? I dont want to accidentally kill any innocent animals.
Just trap the cats and take them to a shelter or take them to the owners and tell them next time the cats are in your yard you won't be bringing them back.
>>2469658
I have talked to the owners. They have a tendency to get butt hurt and claim their cats have always been outdoor animals, as if that makes it ok.

Then do what you must
>For its slender body, the black mamba is deceptively powerful; it is the fastest moving snake indigenous to Africa, and perhaps the fastest anywhere.
How can white snakes even compete?

Much lower murder rates.

>How can white snakes even compete?
Especially considering eating white snakes gives you supernatural powers.
Anyone has experience with tweedia caerulea? I'm going to receive my seeds tomorrow and i want to know what is the best germination method for this plant. I read from the seller's page that I'm supposed to leave the seed on top of the soil exposed to light and cover the container with some plastic wrap, however, i want to know if people have other methods to germinate this plant's seeds.
Other feedback that is related to this plant is also welcome (plant care, seed conservation, etc.)
My friend was given this plant, but he doesn't know what kind of plant it is.
do any of you guys know?

olive
Do an of you guys know what kinda tree leaf this is, maybe? It is from Canada. My rabbits love to eat it and i wonder if its good for them.

PLEASE BE IN LONDON
Looks like some kind of elm tree. I'm no expert though.
Yeah it's an elm, probably Siberian elm (Ulmus pumila) which is commonly planted. Consider the serration of the leaf margins and the asymmetry of the leaf base. Siberian elm were commonly planted and kind of a nuisance weedy tree.
Definitely not American elm or slippery elm (the latter feels like sand paper when you rub the surface).
Also, plz show titz
If not, what kind of coleoptera is it? It was found on Guatemala, in a tropic area
Thanks in advance!

Hey /an/, I'm trying to figure out an animal from my childhood.
My yard used to be covered in caterpillars with long light hairs. I think they were grey and yellow? There were tons of them.
Too indescript. There are many that fit that description. Look into some variety of tent, or army worm.
>>2469211
Thanks anon, that was right.
Those things used to be EVERYWHERE.
Animals, plants, fossils and the biosphere are a HOAX, a FAKE! What we think are animals, plants, fossils, bacteria and fungi are actually HALLUCINATONS projected into our MINDS AT BIRTH by the BIOMIMETIC MONITOR MACHINE LIZARDS that rule over the FLAT EARTH DISC. When we eat "MEAT" and "VEGGIES" we are actually eating PROTEIN CLAY, SUGAR AND VITAMINS ARE A HOAX, A FAKE! You ANIMAL LOVERS are being DECEIVED by the GREAT LACERTA, when we die our remains are EATEN by METALSHARKS. OUTER SPACE AND THE SUN ARE A LIE. NATURE IS A LIE. Wake up 4CHAN!
Nice, can I use this as pasta? This is prime shitposting material.

You may SPREAD THE MESSAGE, but it is not a WORK OF TROLLING, my boy.
I like wollemi pines.
My parents bought me one for my birthday present when I was 11.
