How easy is it to scam an airline into letting me take my dog on for free?
Put it in the hold

It looks like you need a letter from a professional for an ESA, so you better get to faking a disorder.
>>2471207
>Fake anxiety disorder.
>Schedule appt with therapist
>Tell them you'd like our dog as an ESA, and that having him around calms you down
>Flights have to let you keep him
>like the look of dogs with "wolf ears"
>want a rottweiler
>can't bring myself to mutilate his ears for mere "aesthetics"

If you want a dog that looks like a wolf then try one of these breeds instead:
Alaskan Malamute
Siberian Huskie
Canadian Eskimo
Tamaskan
Northern Inuit
Utonagan
>>2471171
I don't really want a wolfy dog though. Just the upright ears in a molosser type.

You could rescue or adopt one that's already been cropped.
saw these two out side. google thinks its a american black duck. but why does one have a blue bill? i cant find any images online of a duck with a blue bill.
It's a mallard, you can tell because it has that blue spot on the wing. Assuming this is in the US of course, I don't know what, if any, Euro equivalents there are. I saw a mallard with a blue bill last year. Still don't know why. Some genetic oddity I guess. I don't think it's a hybrid but I don't know about duck crossbreeds at all.

Thanks. Yea New England (best England)
I just looked up American Black Duck, honestly didn't even realize they were a thing. I am surprised how close they are to mallards. I still think yours is a mallard OP because it has the white on either side of the blue patch. ABD's wing doesn't appear to have white on it. Could be a hybrid between the two I suppose, this site says they can mix. Anyway, neat.

I just moved to a new apt. and I'm thinking about getting a mouse, hamster, bunny or rodent of any kind.
I just want to know which one is the most inexpensive, least smelly, needs the least attention, and specially what can I do with them during the 1-month intervals when I'm out?
>>2471102
you're not suited for mammals. get fish

Is this bait?
Got any hot tips on how to get a stray cat into a transporter? I'm taking the females residing in my yard to the vet one by one to get spayed. Now there's only one left, but she's pretty wild and surrounded by far more docile strays who keep hogging the thing, eating the bait, and making the whole process impossible. You'd think they'd learn to be afraid of it, but they don't give a fuck, they're all completely down for another surgery. I'm worried that if I try to do it by force and fail, she'll run away and completely lose her trust. But the bait just isn't working out because her friends keep going for it. And when I try to distract them with other food, she just goes along wherever they're going and ignores the food in the transporter.
Try poisoning the food eventually you'll get the one you want.

I think I'll keep that as the last resort.
>>2471046
The others should have been taken to the local animal control center or a shelter that accepts strays.
How did you cope with your pet's death ? I've had my dog for almost twelve years and she's the only thing I have left of my grandmother since she was hers before living in my home. She is 20 years old now and I know she won't last long.
Power on dude. It'll be alright.
20 is a pretty astounding life for a dog considering all breeds
some 3rd world countries have a life expectancy not so that much greater
it will be alright, bro
I really miss my cat. He was pushed out from the gate by my neighbor that find him out of my door. Yesterday It should have been his 2nd birthday since i adopted him.... I miss him so much, it's raining outside, it's passed bout a month and i can't still find him.... I just need to talk.
Everytime i go to bed and try to sleep, every single flash of him appear and doesn't leave me alone. The 9/9 i'll be 21 and every single day it's getting harder.
Here it is a photo of him...
Sorry for my post. Who loves animals can understand what i'm goin through.

lol just give him a chip m8

>owning a cat
>letting it outside
pick one, or get a leash next time
Outdoor cats may seem like a good idea, but it's pretty shit, especially with the possibility that they get into fight, catch disease and other shit. There's no sense in getting a cat if you're just gonna leave it outside like a retard
>He was pushed out from the gate by my neighbor that find him out of my door
wut
Also, keep your cat indoors. This is what happens to outdoor cats.
Anyome have any recommendations for a chest to chest harness for a Chihuahua?
As in, Chihuahua strapped to my chest with a hanress that is strapped to it's chest.
Wanted to take my doggo on my motorcycle but am unsure what, if any, products would be good to keep him strapped to me so he can stand on the tank.
I know they exist but I haven't found any for Chihuahuas.

nancy golina is a 85 year old woman running a animal care facility in prince Rupert bc. I saw her on a cucked news station today but I heard her say that she was getting too old to continue... you think we should help her out? I'm curious if 4chan can run an animal shelter without fellow /pol/locks turning it into a large oven. She is looking after multiple bald eagles. So who is interested?
I h8 having to bump myself but...
>Hi /pol/ you cucks, /pol/ cuck here, can you look after /pol/ cuckbirds without being too /pol/ for /pol/ and turning it into a /pol/ cuck oven
Do any of you guys know what type of larvae this is?

So, a neighborhood stray cat brought a kitten to my doorstep. We've fed the momma, brought her in on nasty nights, but her kitten (chances are the only survivor of the litter) is missing a hind leg, due to something tearing at it. What is an effective antiseptic, until I can get it to a vet? This kitten was born in the last 48 hours, mind. Feelin guilty because I heard the momma last night at my door. assumed to be the last of the litter because 1. it's the momma's 1st litter, and 2. It's the only one she's brought to the house. Old help.
Spell check dogshit. Please help

My border collie is 9 years old and over the last 2 weeks she's become extremely incontinent. She's never had a pee house training problem before, only diarrhea if she gets super stressed ... never pee though.
But now she's just leaving huge puddles in the rugs, carpet, corner of rooms, etc. She'll try to just walk away with her ass and legs just soaked in pee... obviously she just went while sleeping. I brought her to the vet on tuesday who took some bloodwork and urine to check for a UTI and other stuff, but he thought it was just because she's spayed and 9 years old so we started her on Prion tuesday, 50mg twice a day. It's now Friday and while she hasnt peed the rest of the week, she just did about an hour ago in the corner of my room again.
What do I do? The vet was supposed to call me with the bloodwork results but hasn't, but I'm just at my wits end. She's ruining my flooring, my furniture, my carpets, rugs, etc. It irritates the hell out of me because she's never had this problem before and it came on just so suddenly. Not like a dribble here and there, just huge puddle one day and every couple of nights past that.
Take her out to pee more often. It won't solve the problem but the puddles won't be as bad.
Maybe even invest in doggy diapers if the vet can't find any medical solution.
>>2470712
The door outside is open almost from 6am to 11pm and she can freely go in and out during those times. She pees outside as often as usual :(
>>2470698
>Spayed
I'm sorry anon. Don't fall for this absurd meme again. She's going to have joint and bone issues too, guaranteed. Get her a diaper until you find some meds that work. Hormone replacement therapy can sometimes work, but proin is supposed to be really good too. You might need to experiment with your vet for a bit.
I want to learn to do deep sea science next year when I start uni, but according to /sci/ anything biology related isn't rigorous enough
How could I make biology more rigorous?
I am good at math and physics, but am not interested in gayass engineering like most people who are good at math and physics want to do
I want to discover and study exotic creatures in the deep sea, but /sci/ says this isn't a rigorous field
What should I do?
>>2470661

do what you want

Why would you listen to a bunch of high schoolers and undergrads? Please do not take advice or make life decisions based on input from 4chan.

Where would I get advice though?
School tells me to study something that would guarantee me to get a wellpaying job
I don't care that much about money
