Orcas are so fucking badass
I feel incredibly sorry for Great White Sharks though
With Orcas and humans killing them, they probably will become extinct one day

Vulture?
Researchers in China have successfully grafted the heads of smaller rats onto the necks of larger rats. The Chinese scientists successfully avoided brain-damaging blood loss while the donor head was being attached to the recipient rat.
No damaging blood loss was detected on the EEGs monitoring the donor rat's brain activity throughout the transplanting procedure.

The soviets already did this decades ago with dogs.

For WHAT fucking reason was this necessary?
Millions of other things in the world needs to be explored and we got Canavero and his followers doing sketchy shit like this. Hmm.. maybe to prolong life by kidnapping a young person and grafting on your own head in an effort to prolong life? Fucking nightmarish.

wow what a waste. nothing of ethical value was learned here.

oh
time to kill some little brown fuckers then
This is hard to see I know, but because of the high light contrast I couldn't get a better pic. I assume this is some kind of insect egg pouch? Anyone able to recognize it? I did a google search and there wasn't anything that looked like it.
It basically looks something like this (pic related). It looks like a little snus pouch (chewing tobacco). There's 3 of them on the window.
>>2379821
No it looks like a pouch. It's not a bug. I assume it's some kind of egg sack or something.
Pic related is a pouch of chewing tobacco and it is very close to what it looks like.

Discuss anything aquarium related here, including inhabitants, decor and issues.
Google is your friend.
Feel free to ask questions but know that there are a lot of resources out there that could answer your question a lot faster and accurately than /an/.
Make sure to include these things in your post before asking because we can't help you if we don't have the full picture:
-tank size (include dimensions, not just volume)
-parameters (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, pH, GH, KH)
-any and all inhabitants + how long you've had them

Tanganyika is best rift lake.
I have this tiny pump, the aquatop np-80, and want to put it in a nano shrimp tank, but even on the lowest setting, the flow is too strong. I thought putting some sponge over out flow might reduce it, but I also worry that will fuck up the motor inside. Any ideas?
Pitcus catfish, striped raphaels, giant dianos and maybe ram cichlid pair? Y/N? I'm on the hunt for a 55+gal.
Hey /an/
I came home and my cat doesn't seem to be doing too well
Shes around 22 years old and it looks like her time is coming soon. She's struggling to walk is looking very raggedy.
I don't think she'll live through the night.
When she does die what do I do with the body? I don't want to just throw it away in the dumpster. I don't have access to a backyard where I can bury.
Suggestions?

Cremation? Taxidermy?
Funeral pyre.
Cremate her, put the ashes somewhere nice. There's some really cute urns available.
No. We both know I am alpha.

What are the difference between goat and sheep?
sheep have an explosive gland. if you squeeze them too hard, they explode. goats don't have that.
Sheep enjoy getting fucked by humans.
Goats struggle.
I found this little bird thing outside, in my backyard. It was struggling around and stuff, so I brought it inside before one of the numerous cars around child made a meal out of it.
It's kinda just flailing and struggling pathetically to walk.
There are no nests or trees in the area I found it in by the way, it was right next to my house.
Anyway what now?
This is a fledgeling. It is supposed to be on the ground, the parents are still watching it, go put it back where you found it ASAP before you kill it.
put it back
it might die where you found it. it will die with you
that bird looks injured dont tell him to put it back
