Hi, I'm studying electromechanics at what I guess would be considered a trade school, and for our third year we have to make a project involving hydraulics/pneumatics and stuff like timers/contactors/relays and some basic sensors.
We work in groups and since this year there's only 5 people in our class (I know right) there's only one group with all 5 of us in it.
We'll have to build the machine (with our own funds) and make a folder detailing everything: why we built that certain machine, how we did it, schematics of the machine, etc.

Problem is we don't really know what to build, and we don't have a mechanical engineering professor at the moment so we can't really ask for their opinion on the hardest part of the project which is building the mechanical side of the machine.

Our electrical engineering professor suggested a powered pipe bender but we wanted to consider more ideas before deciding on that.
I had thought of making a very rudimentary plastic injector but I'm not sure that's something we could pull off

So /wsr/, could I have some ideas or advice? Any input is very welcome

Recommend modern-ish (2008-now) action anime series that feels like oldschool OVA. Here's what I want:

- Simple story that doesn't take itself seriously. Or if it does, it's in a campy, cheesy, "so bad it's good" kind of way.
- Action and violence cranked up to 11. Tons of over the top shootouts, car chases, CQC and what have you. As for violence, I want it equally over the top. Bullets exploding people's limbs, knives that effortlessly slice through flesh, hand to hand techniques that easily break bones etc.
- Set in modern times, cyberpunk, post-apo, or sci-fi, and primarily gun-oriented. I want lots of guns and shootouts, so a fantasy setting is out. No shonen-like superpowers either.
- Humor. The more the better. Preferably of darker breed, but I'll take whatever, as long as it's not cringeworthy and fits the overall tone of the show.
- Character designs that are more on the realistic side (i.e. no moe shit), but made to be super cool at the same time. Basically, male characters should always be either beefy, super manly, badass men or guys whose faces you could find in the dictionary next to words "cool" and "badass", and females should always look and dress sexily. Some fanservice is also appreciated, albeit not necessary.
- Good animation. I don't have too high standards for that. As long as you can't count the frames on the fingers of one hand and the action segments look fluid and dynamic, it's fine with me.
- Non-episodic format. I'm gonna be binge watching it, so any kind of repetition kills the show for me.
- A complete, self-contained experience. All of the episodes have been aired, there's no sequel in the works that I have to wait for, the series has a conclusive ending, and no manga is required to be read to get the full story.

Don't suggest:

- Black Lagoon
- Jormungand
- Hellsing Ultimate

Buykratom.us has stolen my money and refused to refund it

I had bought a few different Kratom strains from Buykratom.us and the total ended up being $86.16. I paid them in Bitcoin and then I had talked to my lawyer and he told me to cancel the order as it is risky to ship to the Asian country I am currently living in (I'm an American expat). So they canceled the order, which was very nice of them, and said "Your refund will show up within 5 to 7 days in your account". Well that was about 2 weeks ago, as I had placed the order on April 10th, 2017. My order number was AB-201999.

After 7 days, I tried sending the owner, saundra, an email and also a support ticket and asked him where my Bitcoin refund was and got no response. I then waited another 5 days and tried again to contact him and this time no response either. So I warned him that unless he refunded my Bitcoin within 48 hours, I would publicly leave this review and warn others to avoid buying from Buykratom.us as they are scammers and will steal your money and run away with it.

So that's all I can say. Don't buy from Buykratom.us, they are scammers and I'm really pissed off he stole 80 dollars worth of Bitcoin from me. As some of you might know, the price of Bitcoin is rising so it will end up being worth far more than 80 dollars.

I have a penny that appears to be aluminum and was minted in 1988. it has a d on it which I think means it was minted in Denver. It is not magnetic, and weighs just over 2 grams. I cannot find reference to it anywhere online, and was hoping someone here would know it's value.
