Don't remember. But Mario Bros/Duck Hunt and Gyromite with ROB were one of my first most coherent memories
> minimal generation you are willing to go
I'll play anything. I don't care about pong consoles or anything though. Modern stuff is very very hit and miss but I enjoy some of it.
> social standing then and now: did you have a lot of/any friends, gfs, etc
I move a lot, so not right now

There are thousands of great games to play on this wonderful machine

"You're only beginning to discover the amazing things you can do with this machine"
Quod Init Exit IIm
Stupid name, jawdropping game
>>3290662
That screen is from the original QIE game which isn't nearly as good as II/IIm
Anyone have any experience with selling some of their old games? I'm considering selling mine for some extra cash but I'm not sure if it's worth it in the long run
Bout $350
>>3327364
I'd give 50 bucks for that, make it 60 if you're really desperate.
>>3327364
Some people might be crazy enough to spend the money on it so sure, why not? You can emulate SNES games perfectly nowadays.
What "old reference" does Reimu make when talking to Meira? I don't get it.
looks like the guy from murasame no jo
They're talking about Mima from HRtP.
>>3327327
>Mima
>HRtP
What?
Who did you play as, /vr/?
>>3327012
wizard when i was younger. now im usually a warrior or the minotaur when hes unlocked
>>3327012
>BLUE WIZARDS HEALTH IS LOW
>FOOD IS GOOD
>USE MAGIC TO KILL DEATH
Archer
Why was it so easy?
>>3326939
Because you're the best at video games
Because the true difficulty lies in exploring, not fighting enemies.
shield-rod, etc, etc.
>>3326943
but even the exploring is damn easy and obvious compared to a metroid
SCANNING AREA
>>3326928
NOT RETRO
>>3326959
>>3326964
It was released in June 2000 while the cutoff is December 1999.
How do these store's stay in business?? I know they are franchised so maybe a decent one is out there but every location I have ever visited sells mostly overpriced shit games(many with printed out covers) and has know nothing shit employees. I honestly can't imagine why anyone would give them the time of day let alone sell games to them.
Money laundering
The one near me gets business like CRAZY. They have a retarded amount of diffetent DVD's. They also sell retro vidya for a decent price.
You guys have to realize that retro video games are getting popular. You cant just expect to go into a store and buy 10 games for 20 bucks anymore. The market inflated, this is how things work.
>>3326608
Depends what you buy. The games everyone wants like ff7 and zelda are always like 50 bucks. Its worth it for "le timeless classics"
>You got the wrong air lock, Mr. Freeman.
>>3326323
Did you just fucking take a picture of your monitor as opposed to taking a screenshot? What's wrong with you?
>>3326340
I don't know how to take a screenshot
>>3326349
holy shit
Is there anything physically wrong with the sega megadrive(genesis) circuitboard? Pins are clean but the game doesnt seem to work. First time i encountered not working game for the system.
Taking a picture of the EEPROM probably flashed it, deleting the ROM
>>3326209
Ive heard if exposed to sunlight for a long that can happen. But why would taking a picture delete it?
The STRIKE series is one of my favorite games of all time, I think I used the cartridges a lot faster than the CDs for the later titles but by god was it fun to play, explore the world and destroy buildings.
Why aren't there helicopter games as cool as this now? Also, retro copter games in general
>Why aren't there helicopter games as cool as this now?
More like, why aren't there helicopter games now? Hell, even plane games are becoming less common.
Seek and Destroy! From good ol Epic Megagames on DOS. Loved the shit out of this game a lot more than the Strike series.
Topgun Firestorm plays like the Stealth Fighter stage in Jungle Strike
So what do you think about this game?
>Fun Fact: If you hold your hand on the right wall of a maze and follow it, you'll eventually find the exit.
You're meming wrong faggot. It was supposed to be a flea market find.
>check Cinemassacre on youtube
>sure enough, Maze Craze comes up
Right on schedule
Show how does /vr/ feel about replacement cases and manuals? Are they worth it if you're unable to get the original case or manual?
>>3326082
They're fine, personally I don't really give a shit as long as the cartridge is in good condition, I'm more utilitarian about my collection.
Why not just get a scan of the manual?
>>3326082
you know, i always thought that was a guy on the cover of shining force 2. after seeing that large left breast i'm not so sure.
How could anyone have possibly beaten this quiz in Megaman Legend 2? You need either a guide or a long trial and error session, and even THEN there's usually a trick question involved.
>>3325719
>not knowing animals
Male tortie. Male calico cats are fairly rare.
Look at this shit!
>>3325750
Got me on that one. kek
...Well?
Every single level up there was a stat that would be better than the others to level.
Check for it and choose it.
Always.
There, you've broken the game.
>>3325708
Was it RNG, or is there a way to predict which one it'll be?
>>3325776
I think it was Star > Pow > HP > Star > Pow > HP until you reach level 30.
But I may be wrong.
