I watched this the other day too and i kindsa agree with him. Conker is a good movie, but not a good game.

It depends what you're looking for from Conker.

The entire game is supposed to be a novelty - a FUCK YOU to cutesy 90s platformers. Part of that novelty is how it shifts through many genres.

If you expect anything more than that then of course you'll be disappointed. Part of that package was also the best graphics of 5th generation, and the best audio on N64.

It was selfish, but I think anyone can understand his motivations.

Like >>386749517 said, his decision was selfish. But if he had let them kill Ellie and create an immunity vaccine then nothing would have changed. Raiders, looters and bandits would still continue to go around killing people. The "zombies" would still be able to kill people even though they wouldn't be able to turn. Society wouldn't just band together because no one can be infected, the clans that have been established would still be out for their own gain. In short, nothing would change and Ellie would have died for nothing.

We just don't know.

That's what I'm waiting for. I don't want to write him off because of MGSV due to the weird circumstances around it, and I think he was at one point genuinely great, but I'm done with him if DS is another MGSV.
