I think every 'phase' this series has gone through, from 1-3, to the action game set by 4 and this one has been good. I've always liked the way Resi has adapted and changed throughout the generations, its why its one of the few ps1 era franchises to still be strong to this day.

People who develop attachments to the various characters are retarded though. They are literally just vessels for the experience, who gives a fuck how "accurately" they capture Chris and Jill's nonexistant personality. There are people who are actually more concerned over whether the Chris at the end of VII is the real Chris, and that the Chris character isn't "sullied" by the depiction or story scenario, rather than worrying about whether the Not A Hero DLC will sufficiently add meaningful new scenarios or content to the base game. Chris could be a defector to Umbrella and a villain, I don't give a fuck, just make a good scenario.

Nioh doesn't have a great story and the balance isn't nearly as good as BB. Minus all the broken builds you can make, just having a firm grasp of the combat system is enough for you to wreck everything in Nioh easily. The combat is much better than BB, but FROM is better at balancing the game around their combat.

Which sucks considering it's Team Ninja, I think they were scared of making it too difficult and scaring away potential players. That and they don't have much experience with all the RPG shit.

A new handheld, an actual 3DS successor, will be shown off next year. It had a 7 year life span just like the DS. The Switch is a shitty underpowered home console, not a portable.

I'm looking forward to the third version of Yo-kai Watch 2, Yo-kai Watch 3, Yo-kai Watch Blasters, and Yo-kai Sangokushi.
