Maybe one random thread at a time. Did it successfully kill the series?
yea
>>376085605
Because laughing at the same old shit gets old.
>>376085763
Well not really threads bashing it, but even just general threads about it. Seems the honeymoon phase is over and the week one defenders have long stopped playing the game.
>>376086062
No one is defending it. Not even the most ultra delusional Bioware fans.
>>376085605
how bad were the sales?
Its now uncool and not hip to even talk about it OP what the fucka re you doing don't you know the rules of /v/?
>>376086601
Pretty good, actually. I think a lot of people were like me and got it because they wanted to see the mess.
What is there to talk about?
/thread
>>376085605
Yep, I lost alot of confidence.
I played this game and tried my utter best to enjoy it, but it felt more of a chore than an experience.
I haven't touched it since getting persona 5
>>376085605
My favorite part was that this happened again.
>>376085605
It was a shit game that /v/ promptly laughed at and forgot within a week. If schadenfraude couldn't keep Battleborn alive, Andromeda didn't have a much better chance.
I was surprised how quickly it dropped off the radar. Almost like janitors started deleting threads.
Unironically the best game in the series.
>>376088450
Are you seriously using the word "unironically" ironically?
>>376088714
The only way to say something without being called a shill or a troll.
>>376086062
this, you can't bait in a dead sea.
If Dead Space 3 needed 5 million sales to be considered a success, then something more prominent like Andromeda would require a lot more sales to make the series financially viable.
So yea ME franchise is dead.
>>376086601
sales are pretty good, replayability is close no nil though.
>>376088450
Not the best but the second best after Mass Effect 2.
>>376088321
i saw threads of it with 1 or 2 replies, janitors don't even bother.
>>376089043
gotta agree with you there, started a NG+ and just stopped caring, there's hardly anything you can actually do differently beyond fucking someone else. There are some, but not enough
Sara is cute
>>376089458
It's still selling, it just doesn't get discussed here. There's very little to talk about.
You either liked it or you didn't. There are no puzzles to not figure out, the plot is what it is, the characters are straight forward.
>>376089373
Cont.
Felt alright on the first play through because i was experiencing a new story and new characters and places, but now it just feels like a chore and the shallow gameplay and boring worlds really stand out because of it.
Previous Bioware games were shit in a way that it was fun to make fun out of them.
Andromeda was just sad, there wasn't even anyone defending it, even mainstream media outlets just kinda agreed that it was the worst thing ever.
It killed the franchise for sure, they haven't even milked money via DLC, they know it's over.
>>376085763
>loss
>>376089785
Aoino Broome, right?
i liked the original trilogy, is this worth pirating or will i just be disappointed?
>>376089895
Which is ironic considering Inquisition was praised, a game much much worse than Andromeda despite being similar
>>376091693
That's cause DA2 lowered the standards to a minimum. At least ME3 was serviceable and Andromeda wasn't a sequel so Bioware could have done anything with the series.
Didn't they try to actually fix the facial animation or something? I think /v/ stopped giving a shit once they fixed up our precious autism-chan.
>>376092050
>>376092050
Wrong thread sorry!
>>376092050
is that even a memay in japan? or is it a localization thing?
>>376089667
reheating old copypasta
love it
even ignoring the wonky models and animations, the game still feels rushed. the quests that send you out in the field on a planet just to have a conversation before sending you to a different planet got old fast. Hell, the sweeping planet view was probably to pad play time more than some artistic vision.
The movie night one was one of the worst with multiple trips to Aya and Kadara
>>376085605
Bioware is over
>>376085605
There really isn't much to talk about with the game.
There's no really huge controversial decisions that people go back and forth on.
The problem with this game really is you're going to have to wait until the NEXT game to see the impact of your choices, which obviously is going to be a while. Also that's assuming your choices actually mean something and don't just effect dialogue or something.
>>376094339
>thinking Bioware will actually make decisions matter
Top lol
>>376089572
I heard there was a problem with the NG+ playthroughs, was that ever addressed?
>>376085605
Not really, still sold a bunch of copies and people want to see a sequel/DLC.
>>376085605
>friend got me the super delux edition
>have only played a handful of the multiplayer with him
Game doesn't seem horrid, but I'm still not interested in playing the single player.

It died a hard death.
They wouldn't be doing so much damage control if they planned on killing off the series.
>>376085605
We're in the phase where journalists and reviewers are posting about how it "wasn't that bad".
>>376095889
>They wouldn't be doing so much damage control if they planned on killing off the series.
But they killed off the series 5 years ago.
>>376085605
There are thousands of other games to talk about until it becomes funny/interesting again.

this
I'm a pretty big ME fan and forgot about this tbqh, not much interest with these new characters.
Is the online as good as ME3?
