I feel like Mega Man 8 is ok just on account of it being a more overtly lighthearted series and retrospectively just being a kind of enjoyable 90s PS1 cheese. Yes "Doctah Wahwee" and "W-Mega Man" are bad as fuck but that was the fun.

It's literally Mega Man's VA from 8 doing the exact same voice for a child robot when X is clearly meant to be much older. It absolutely does not fit, regardless of how naive X is supposed to be.
