That movie was terrible, by the way.
>>79337904
This movie is atrocious (even on a basic technical level), but I like it because of how much it leans on the old Pink Panther movies. A dead type of comedy from a different time.

So, what exactly did she do wrong?
She acted professionally, are film critics really such hippies as to rank her as one of the best "villains" in cinematic history?
>>79337880
>So, what exactly did she do wrong?
well in the book she had giant irresistible knockers and in the movie she didnt
so fuck her

>>79337760
no, the machines are fucking idiots. turning humans into energy sources doens't work.
>>79337760
no
it would take more energy to keep them alive than they would receive from their bodies
the original reason they enslaved the humans like this was for RAM but back them plebs and normies didnt know much about computers so they rewrote it as LMAO HUMAN BATTERIES
>>79337849
This. Holy fuck it was ruined. They could had just spent 2 mins explaining what Ram was and how the human mind was good at it. And then throw in the radiant energy source to perhaps help power the machines(albeit very low power but still better than nothing)
Is there anything else we can needlessly speculate on?
We don't need to speculate.
We know its gonna suck.
Finn's penis size
>>79337750
we can speculate that its gonna be episode 5 redux safely so normies can give it 95%+ on review sites.

In my opinion, this is a very good movie.
I hadn't watched it in a while, and Jar Jar, while present in many scenes, isn't nearly as annoying as I remembered/had remembered for me by the hivemind.
Don't really get the memes. Even if you don't like this movie, it's not like A New Hope is on another plane of quality.
ANH, TPM, and TFA are all the same movie really.
I like TPM the most because Lucas showed worlds and locations he couldn't with ANH's fairly low budget/effects of the era.
For instance, Mos Espa is probably how he originally envisioned Mos Eisley.
I'm rambling.
>>79337482
I agree. I like watching it still, and I honestly enjoy it. Warts and all.
>because Lucas showed worlds and locations he couldn't with ANH's fairly low budget/effects of the era
It's so dense, every scene has so much going on.

Post something that evokes discussion instead of just bumping.
What when wrong?
Yesterday
Peter Jackson phoned it in.
Have talked to people on the production and yeah, apparently PJ, as they call him, would just turn up randomly say things needed to be re done without any guidance as to how and then fuck off again only to come back randomly at some later date to say that it was all wrong again. He issued an apology to staff for his behavior but is apparently still doing the same thing with his current projects.
