This is obviously a red herring. Disney would not make the mistake of abandoning the Jedi. They will no doubt try to push that the Jedi were wrong and misunderstood, but things will come back full circle to the Jedi eventually. They are not going to come up with some new name. They can do that with Sith, that's fine. Sith were only in the prequels. Jedi is the staple of the saga.
