You're not gonna believe this. He killed sixteen czechoslovakians. Guy was an interior decorator.

SO WHAT NO FUCKIN ZITI NOW
I WISH THE LORD WOULD TAKE ME NOW
What could he have said to save his situation?
I *snickers* said some... things *laughs louder*
His demeanor/framing in a video interview instead of showing up to the show was enough to kill him. It cemented his fledgling persona as an uncomfortably aggressive has been clinging to his last chance to redeem himself.
Just looking at that photo, you can see how weak the situation has made him feel, almost literally backed into a corner. Had he acted more jokingly self-deprecating, along with not tying the incident with an inability to control himself, and rather a joke done in bad taste that got out of hand, he might have recovered.

So last night I was roped into seeing Guardians of the Galaxy 2: Family Matters Edition.
The first one was pretty good, but I didn't care to see this one, knowing it would be more of the same.
Of course, I was right: it's just about the same formula as the first movie, everything we loved about it, while not really taking any risks as it capitalizes on the success of the first movie. But that's fine, we get introduced to a couple new characters and learn a little bit more about returning ones.
It's by no means an action movie although it tries to be at times, throwing some haw-haws at the audience during a fight. Then there's the slow-motion scenes where out heroes are kicking ass while some oldies song plays- same as in the first movie (and the movie that did this first, and still best, was Face/Off. See it). There was a lull around the middle of the movie too, which gave me more time to think about how similar the two movies were.
That said, it was pretty funny and had a decent enough story. The funniest character in the movie by far was bAutista; he's big, he's dumb, and he has no filter: "did you make a penis too?" Michael Rooker steals the show, though, letting viewers see an emotional side while still being badass. Kurt Russel and Chris Pratt were pretty good too, with Pratt not being as good as Russel.
However, it's not artsy or serious and I can only give it a light 7.
If you loved the first one, then I don't have to tell you to see it; and if you're not sure then don't bother, if you've seen the first then you're not missing anything and you can save your $11.05 and just act like you saw it anyways "yeah, did you see the part with the slow motion? Ohhh man!"

Find it a bit boring everytime the token black friend was on screen desu
Arrival is much better
Money. I get the feeling they have some defent ideas for the sequel though otherwise they would have moved onto something else. Its not like it was a box office smash or anything

It was different. I liked it. Plus I have a Rose fetish.
Although I was disappointed when they were talking about some book and said "tannhauser gaye" and I thought maybe they were talking about a philip k dick novel. But nope.

I'd suggest either Boardwalk Empire or Mad Men, depending on what type of Sopranos high you're chasing. Neither is quite as good, but they're about as good as you're gonna get.

How come I haven't seen any Trump Jokes in American Dad or Family Guy?
There were plenty of Bush and Obama ones, but there hasn't been a single Trump one at all. What's up with that?

nice trips and although its not funny at least some media is having a laugh of both sides rather than just one
hey, /tv/. I'm looking for two movies that I don't know the title of. I only remember a few scenes from them, either because I saw them only as a kid, or because I only managed to catch their beginning.
One is a late 80s / early 90s comedy, something about a guy helping another guy to hook up with a girl? I'm not even sure. The scene that is stuck in my head is one where they try getting to know the girls habits by stealing her trash, to know what kind of stuff she uses. They end up commenting on the amount of Grapefruit they find. This becomes a recurring joke, because another group tries to do research on these guys, and they also steal their trash, which is now full with the girls trash, and they comment on the grapefruits again. I'm sure I saw this fully but it was so long ago that I don't remember it anymore. I vaguely remember it being some disco movie.
The other is a movie that has an airliner crashing in some desert. The remaining stewardess / pilot (not sure) tries to hold together the pack of survivors. One of the survivors is a pregnant mom. The few things I remember is a part where they have only limited water and try to divide it equally but the pregnant mom gobs it like crazy, and keeps mentioning it that she needs special care because she is pregnant. Another guy uses the water to mix up shaving cream so he can cut his beard - when the pilot asks where he got the water to do that, he says that he used only what was his share, others drank it, he used it so he can shave.
There was also some thing about a minefield they had to cross for whatever reason. I only saw the movie up to around that part and I wonder how it will end. I'm sure I caught it on HBO, which would make it late 90s / early 00s (stopped watching TV after that since I got internet).
Anyone has an idea what the title of these movies could be?
nobody knows?
I tried looking at google and imdb for similar movies but couldn't find any. I only got results for very recent movies.
Not OP but bumping out of interest.
