>Not a classic
Ugh! As if!
It's been a classic since it came out, friend.

Shouldn't even be a question
what did you guys think of kstew's newest kino?
People ask me why I think The Wire is the best television show ever. I tell them because it's very true to real life:

What's the best episode of The Sopranos that I should get someone to watch if they aren't interested in watching The Sopranos?
>>84228338
The first one, which isnt even that strong. its not a show you can insert into, Ive been through this with friends. They wont watch it at all? Fuck em. They get bored at three in? Pleb, talk to them less. All my friends would rather watch inane bullshit and kids cartoons so shows like this are not for them.
If you even thought for a second Pine Barrens kill yourself, that requires two seasons of character development

is right. Sopranos is ideally watched in order without any spoilers, but if OP's friend really needs to be coerced and have certainty of how good the show can actually be, maybe have them watch College first. It's a good episode without any real long-term spoilers, and in terms of continuity it's not a stretch to watch it before the pilot.
Why was this bitch so sought out in the past decade? She ruined a fuck ton of movies she was in, she can't act to save her fucking life. It's not even a matter of always playing the same character, it's a matter of her being terrible at playing any character. She doesn't just fail, she tries and fails miserably.
Wanted, Alexander, Wanted, Beowulf, etc. She's kinda like Cameron Diaz on Gangs of NY, but on EVERY single movie.
>1,274 days until Avatar 2
This has to be a bot right?
Nonetheless, I look forward to counting down those final days on here.

Can we have a 1980's Horror film appreciation thread?
Particularly lesser known ones that don't get mentioned as often.

I'm still surprised how many people I meet that still haven't seen this.
Better than The Dark Knight
>>84228111
It's actually the worst in the trilogy, but it's still great.
>>84228111
Unironically had better quips
>>84228140
Far better than TDKR after the opening scene
Tangerine.
Is it ok for a straight guy to watch this show? Also, does /tv/ like it?

Are you being serious? Why does it matter what your sexual orientation is?

Probably because it's a show about a girl doing crazy shit and singing for some guy she met 10 years ago
I just marathoned 'Inland Empire' for the first time on 3x speed without audio or subtitles.
What did I think of it?
Well...The only real character was girl who watched TV. She was abused by her husband from russian mafia but escaped to America with help of her prostitute friends. She started a new family but had some serious trust issues with men because of her pasr. She watched tons of soap operas and started imagining herself as one of the actresses - Laura Dern. Her character had perfect life but at one moment something changed (I guess she got some message from the past) and Dern went through the same episodes the real girl had but at the end real girl embraced her past so Dern became self aware, stepped out of TV and told real girl to stop watching crap from TV and spend more time with son and husband.
Should I watch it again?
>>84228063
is this a copy pasta? How can you marathon a movie? Who would watch a film on 3x speed without audio and subtitles? confirmed fake.
>>84229359
No, I actually did this. I watch most flicks on 1.3x with audio but I've heard that THIS movie doesn't make any sense anyway so I decided to experiment.
>>84229571
God damn you are good at this. I'm trying so hard not to be triggered right now. Quality shit posting.
No /pol/ bait here, this is a genuine question.
What self-respecting white person is going to walk away from this film and have a positive attitude towards it? All it does is sew racial division and exacerbate racial tensions.
>all white people are secretly racist
>cops are in league with the white folk to get the blacks
>liberal, obama-voting whites are the most racist of all
>all white people are insecure about blacks being stronger so they claim they're more intelligent (the judo/jiujitsu scene)
>white people are jealous of the bbc
>white women want to fuck black guys
>"white has been in vogue for centuries, now it's finally black's turn to be cool"
>asians are honorary whites (the one japanese guy at the party)
>white people want to be black
>racist white people deserve to die
Seriously, this movie should have been called "Get Whitey."
I hate using this word--and this is coming from someone who isn't white--but any white person who claims to like this film is a cuck.
Dear Jordan Peele,
"Get Out" is Maoist, Third-Worldist bullshit. Your little revolution is never going to happen if you keep antagonizing the white working class.
I think you're giving too much credit here. It's a simple film and not in any way a new idea.
The sad thing is this film can receive no criticisim for obvious reasons.
I found it mediocre and pandering.
It was just alright.
The hypnosis scenes were great and so was the violence and paranoia towards the end. 6/10
The main point was just that people who revere blacks as being better than whites aren't any better than people who look down upon blacks and think whites are superior. It was shitting on modern white liberals.
>Lets say you're having a bad day and need a good movie to watch to enjoy some laughs for a night
>What do you watch?

Bill & Ted
If I'm having a bad day I don't usually watch movies, I just lie in bad and cry myself to sleep instead.
>>84228049
I've seen it too many times already..
>HEH HEH HEH HEH HEH
what did they mean by this?
It wasn't that bad
It was dumb and you know it op
"I was only trying to amuse"
It was, in fact, bad.
