Lucas will never be as big of a hack as Abrams.
It's so in the house tonight.
How the fuck do people honestly enjoy the new season of this show?
Can we just admit it's random fucking """""art"""""" shit that people are pretending to like? There's practically nothing entertaining or engrossing about it. The old seasons had actual characters, humor, levity, and real storylines. This shit is literally just cuts to random le weird shocking scenes.
It's fucking stupid. And every dipshit try-hard pretending to like it is too.
Nice bait, back to /a/.

Kris is cute, thats my point.
>>84233107
Most cultures depict foxes as clever and cheeky tricksters, making them favorable protagonists.
wtf is america's problem?

They're all hacks
I actually remember going to this movie in the theater as a kid and unironically enjoying it

I did not take off the Mask! I did not!
O hai BANE?
You are tearing me apart, big guy!
Im a few episodes in and dont like it very much so far. Perhaps Game of Thrones set the bar too high for epics and this doesn't compare, or perhaps I am a pleb. Which one is it?
>>84233013
rome was never good. i like history and study latin etc, but no amount of pretending is going to make this good.
it's Claudius or nothing

Is film dead?
For years I spent a lot of my time watching so many movies, a lot of independent stuff, foreign films, but in the past couple of years I got busy with work and school, started watching less, and now I've got more free time and I start looking at what's being made now...and it's all comic-book drivel...and I come to /tv/ where there used to be a fair number of threads about actual movies and there are none, just back and forth discussion about comic book movie made for chinese markets, or some disney teen start pedo threads.
It really seems to me there is nothing left...they've got hundred and hundreds of comic book characters to make an origin story movie, a conflict movie, a movie where they join the "gang" and fight as a group...and these all make money because of stupid proles.
And my hobby has died.
This is goodbye.

Yes.
Most auteurs today are hacks.
It's up to (you) to save cine ma, friend
Look how many movies have been released so far this year:
http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/year/2017
Out of all those there's been 4 capeshit movies. Lego Batman, Logan, GOTG 2, and Wonder Woman.
Is there a way to make the 3rd act of superhero movies better?
They always end with the hero fighting some generic cgi mess.
>>84232684
Did you even watch Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight?
>>84232684
Yea, do more stuff like in The Abyss, where the villain dies at the end of the 2nd act and make the hero need to solve a challenge or something beyond fight in the 3rd act.
Superhero movies often have world-ending stakes that can only be accomplished through CGI.
It's a Canadian found footage film that I stumbled across. Easily the worst "horror" movie since THINGS. However, it's really funny. Its incompetence makes it actually enjoyable.
