>You know what I expected? Applause. I was only 20 years old then. I couldn't see how it would look to people. I was surprised by what happened. They didn't applaud.
This movie is Kino of the purest form, this movie is the definition of a film that woman will never understand. I just ordered the original book and am so excited to see how well the film was taken from the source material.

It's my favourite film, pure pefection capped off by the best Ost I've ever heard, Nick Cave needs a fucking knighthood
I know it sounds strange, but the film itself is eerie as sin. Short of aliens or monsters, I would even call it Lovecraftian in nature. The whole film is watching one long apocolyptic venture, only aided by the fact that we know the fate of the two main characters prior to seeing the ending. The setting and somber cinematography does this further.
I know it sounds like I'm just spitting bullshit theories, but I hope someone else out there got this feeling to.
Can you say something about it that isn't a string of memes?
So what you guys think of the JL theme?

Do teenagers know the Flintstones outside of the vitamins and cereal?
Yes if they have boomerang
They probably know of it through cultural osmosis, and maybe got up too early one morning and accidentally saw part of an episode, but that's about it
I doubt anyone below the age of 50 has any real, indepth knowledge of it
Probably not. But it was a terrible cartoon. They'll know it once Seth Macfarlane reboots it though
>his name is BJ

It's all about the Kriss Vector now, m8.
Anyone heard of this flick? It's a fucking hilarious obscure fantasy flick and full of T&A.
Y'all niggers seriously need to check this out if out like chesy b-movies with horrible plots and lots of itts
How is CGI from 1993 still the best we have ever seen?
>>87493101
Because they uses animatronics for part of it and filled in the rest with cgi. Practical effects used in combination with CGI always yield the best results.
That's not Starship Troopers.
That was an animatronic/practical, silly.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/09/04/retreat-has-no-chinese-values-dunkirk-movie-comes-fire-china/
>Calls have been made in China to boycott the British war film Dunkirk after it was subjected to a heavy bombardment from critics who said a “disastrous retreat” does not conform with “Chinese values”. New Weekly, a Chinese magazine, compared Dunkirk to Wolf Warrior 2, a patriotic, all-action movie in which the Chinese hero overcomes Western baddies via a series of explosive and dramatic action sequences.
>“Wolf Warrior 2 depicts complete victory,” New Weekly said. “Whereas Dunkirk is about a disastrous retreat, which is very different from traditional Chinese values, so it will not perform very well at the box office.” Wolf Warrior 2, which became China’s top grossing film ever over the summer, has the tagline : ‘Whoever offends China will be hunted down no matter how far away they are.’
That's what you get Britbongs for making a movie that glorifies sheer cuckoldry and running away from the enemy like cowards!

>Even China uses token white guys for diversity
>Chinese values
This thread will get 300 posts of China hate, but this article is fake news.
Dunkirk is doing very well in China.
>Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk marched to an easy win at the Chinese box office over the weekend, opening to $30 million.
