Any of you guys is now paying the price to own rare and complete G1 transformers just because like me, you love a particular character or modern toy and want to own the origins?

No, because I like to play with my mode changing plastic robots

As a child of the 80s, I still have some of my G1 stuff (mostly late G1, and then the reissues during G2)
With the past few years revamping a lot of G1, there's really only a small handful I still want.
Scorponok and Trypticon. The new Trypticon is pretty nice, but A) it doesn't walk, and B) I can really only justify one $100+ transformer purchase every few years, unless I go an entire year without purchasing any. So if I bite the bullet on Tryp, and then they announce scorp for next year or the year after, I'm fucked.

My more recent G1 purchases were powermaster Optimus Prime and Galvatron, neither of which I paid more than 50 to get them complete.
>>
>>6420978
Nah, I love G1 concepts and designs, but their execution was limited by their budgets and enginery, thats one of the main reasons why I love TR.

i got this for my nephew's 3rd birthday, it says 14yr+ though

https://shopcaterpillar.com/1-87-972m-wheel-loader.html

now my sister is telling me it's not appropriate for a 3 year old

wtf is the risk? will he poke himself with a metal corner or something?

First things first, all kids are different and while some are quick in the development of their skills this can't be said for every kid, which is completely fine and natural. Of course, I don't know your nephew but generally a three-year-old's motor skills are far less developed compared to a teenager. This toy wasn't made with small, playing kids in mind chances are that small parts will come off, get lost, etc and while I'm not saying that he will accidentally swallow any of the small parts of that toy, one can never be 100% sure.
Also, the thing you said about hurting himself on metal parts isn't completely baseless. So, better safe than sorry. All in all, I guess, manufacturers slap those age ratings on their toys for a reason (other than just to cover their asses in case a 2-year-old swallows a small part and their parents wanna sue them.)

Just make an account, pre-order it and when it's released they will ask you to pay for it. Then just use your credit card or a paypal account to pay and they will ship it to you. That's it.

What's the most you've ever paid for a single figure and what was it?

I've honestly never broke the $50 mark, though I wouldn't be against it for the right figure.

I paid about $68 for the SHF Broly. I want to say that's the most I ever dropped on a single figure, but I could be mistaken

I paid $300 for ThreeZero Caiman, I bought him a couple months ago and really wanted the extra head in a jar so I just bit the bullet and paid $100 over retail. I think I could have gotten him easily for around retail without the bonus stuff, and maybe I could have even gotten him around retail with the extras if I'd waited, but who knows? I may have gotten ripped off in the long run, but nowhere near as badly as this guy:

I'm still out two orders, one of them they said to wait a week and if it's not here they'll start the refund process, there's 6 days left on the extension they gave but if it's not here tomorrow I'll just get that going I guess. It's the three Banes order, don't know if I'll try and re-order from them or someone else at this point, I really want a freaking movie Bane but I'm tired of being disappointed 5 days a week.

The other order has 26 more days on its extension, guess it'll appear in the mail randomly sometime over the summer if it does at all. I don't understand how I get such bullshit luck with three different orders from three different sellers. The only bright spot is I finally did get the third one and it had the right Captain Hydra at least.

Netflix newest anime, Castlevania, was a huge success. I just finished it, and it's very entertaining.

Trevor Belmont is a cool character, looks like a Middle Ages Spike Spiegel without the cigarettes.

What toy company would make the perfect Trevor Belmont toy?

I'm between Figma and Play Arts Kai, although I dislike PAK. But it would be easier to them to make Trevor, since they make Konami toys.

And to you, what would be your perfect Trevor?

Bring Arts might be cool, but I doubt it'll happen because lolwesternanimation.
Plus we still need a good Simon that isn't from NECA.
>>
Figma or figuarts would be nice.
>>
>>6419972
As much as i like Neca i always felt disapointed with their Castlevania figures, they made Alucard look manly for hell's sake... I guess Figma would work well, or maybe figuarts... i don't know, any that is used to making very posable anime characters. I do worry that they will make static capes though, none of the characters use simple Darth Vader like capes that is easy to do with cloth.
All i know for sure is that I WANT I DECENT POSABLE DRACULA FIGURE ALREADY!!
