What's the most you've ever paid for a single figure and what was it?
I've honestly never broke the $50 mark, though I wouldn't be against it for the right figure.
$295 shipped for this, which is actually a good deal all things considered
I paid about $68 for the SHF Broly. I want to say that's the most I ever dropped on a single figure, but I could be mistaken
I paid $300 for ThreeZero Caiman, I bought him a couple months ago and really wanted the extra head in a jar so I just bit the bullet and paid $100 over retail. I think I could have gotten him easily for around retail without the bonus stuff, and maybe I could have even gotten him around retail with the extras if I'd waited, but who knows? I may have gotten ripped off in the long run, but nowhere near as badly as this guy:
>>6384507
Around 96 bucks for SHF Genocider, though I guess you could technically count it as three figures.
>>6388800
Sad thing is no one in that thread has considered that maybe OP isn't American. Because that's the MSRP in Canuckland.
€165 shipped. That was pretty cheap at the time. Of course, a year later he gets a rerelese…
200 bucks for this one.
>>6389788
>€165
Why'd you pay so much? Do you just really love Charizard or do you just hate money?
>>6389788
guessing this was before the shf?, nayway got both the d-arts and the shf for below retail.
most expenice figure i bought is either shma king ghidorah or shma dhin feat. aftermarket rape.
>>6388800
Mah nigga. I paid 250 for the "regular" version.
I love it, but the hands refuse to stay in place and re-inserting them into place is a fucking suffering. Should have made gloves strap or something because it can get frustating.
NOI FUCKING WHEN
£230 and it was worth every penny.
$450 for Three0's Titanfall Ogre. Given that it's the size of a toddler and the joints aren't floppy at all, it's definitely worth it.
>>6389802
My nigga, indeed. The hands are fucky because they come out of the arm so easily and his sleeves push them off and fucky backwards because it's so fucking hard to get the wrist joint out of the actual hand. Other than that he's great imo. It looks like Noi is coming after En and Curse, if this picture someone took at some toy show is anything to go by. I want En's entire family more than any of the non-En family guys by such a wide margin.
>>6389923
Oh, and by "Noi is coming after En and Curse" I mean if Noi ever comes out at all, not like she's definitely planned.
Spent about £200 on the gaming heads Jak and Daxter statue, but it's soon to be surpassed by their Raziel which I have on pre-order for $424.99.
God knows how much that'll be in pounds if the value keeps dropping..
>>6389903
Mah nigga. I got all three of them, all IMC versions. Even with their three digit prices I've never felt that I was getting ripped off for them, because not only are they so huge, but they look very good and their joints are all functional. The only gripe I have with them is sometimes it's a battle to have them hold their rifles, especially Strider.
>>6390565
I wish the game was as good as the sideshow figure
>>6389923
I also want the entire En family...I'm currently trying to scrape together enough money to preorder Shin. It would be cool to get a two-pack of Fujita and Ebisu, since they're both kinda scrawny and they make sense together. Chota would be great too but extremely unlikely.
I'm sort of bummed by Kaiman honestly! His mouth doesn't even open...the expression they gave him is stoic and boring, it doesn't reflect his goofiness or his anger or...anything really. It's just blank.
>>6391548
The second one is
$200 for my ED 209. Wanted it since I was a kid.
I'm a little ashamed to say I spent around $70 aus (including shipping from the US) for the most recent ML Cyclops. I didn't think it would sell out so quickly online and since we barely get any legends here in Oz land I thought I might as well get it on ebay before prices went up anymore. Of course, the day it arrives is the day that the wave actually starts showing up in stores here for half of what I payed.
$264 for this
Bit hurt by the price still, but he looks great
>>6391671
>Of course, the day it arrives is the day that the wave actually starts showing up in stores here for half of what I payed.
this has happened to me a lot of times. just saying this to make you feel a little better anon
>>6391671
That is always how it works.
Same thing if you find a really rare figure that you might not necessarily want but think you could sell it online for a profit. By the time you've found it and listed it, everyone has it by then.
$250 cad for D-arts Omnimon, I regretted buying a Switch more than that. After that would be $200 for a Spec Eva 02. Got a spec eva 01 for $115 but broke the body trying to arch the back. woulda spent $150 on a movie ver to get a new body but the seller tried to dick me. Never really regretted a toy purchase besides the $90 cad I spent on figuarts Iron shit mk 3
>>6388769
when I was a FF7 head, I spent close to $150 for the extra knights box set. Ended up only missing Yuffie, and my beloved Sephiroth.
>>6388769
actually mine is $180 for the 1 decent Freya Crescent figure that exists.
$150
Whatever the 3A WWR Father and Son two-pack cost new, which IIRC was $285? The one with Rothchild and Caesar 003.
>>6388769
ultimate madoka 1/8 goodsmile scale figure. $250 aud. actually been trying to sell her
>>6388769
$200. Fucking Transformers exclusives are pricey as fuck.
>>6406580
This?
$220 for the Threezero Isaac Clarke.
>>6391671
$70 for a whiny douchebag of a character.
Fuckin' GG
>>6388769
600$ for a Volks SD17 BJD head.
Overall most expensive doll was an Iplehouse EID guy for nearly 1000$ incl. shipping.
At least I lucked out on most of the limiteds I bought.
>>6388769
I'm going to end up breaking my limit with the Figma Metroid Prime 3 Samus. I need it.
I paid 140 for a 1/8 model kit figure
150€ for a Berserker armor figma. It was a good deal considering it was new. I just hope it doesn't ger re-released
>>6388769
$67.00+sh for a new fireball charming drossel figma. I have no idea why those figures shot up in price. I only bought the figma because it was cheaper than the chogokin.
>>6388769
Volks Unoss, $1K
I spent like 150 on the Pit figma like 2 years ago since I was late to the game and missed him when he was shelf warming by a cunt hair, same with Dark Pit.
It was birthday money though so I don't feel too bad about it.
>>6388769
$249 for a Dirty Deeds Bertie. But he's massive and I really love him so I'm okay with it.
$85 for figma black Rock shooter tv animation version. Leg was popped out in the box , but popped it back in. Thank god it came with everything else.
$137. My holy grail since it was never available where I am and always wanted it as a kid.
>>6406762
yep
>>6417697
Those are the best kind of buys.
$80~ for my Tomoko Nendoroid. Well worth it.
>>6417697
this guy had great articulation compared to other DBZ figs at the time, to bad he was way out of scale
Probably about $275 for this bitch.
Not the best looking thing ever, but I have an actual, genuine autistic obsession with this character that barely gets any attention, so of course that didn't matter to me.
115 for her Highness about a year ago. I did once upon a time spend 150 on the super battle collection movie 7 3 pack from DBZ but that's the most I've spend in over a decade.
>>6423711
>>6423667
Hell, if I had it to spend I'd drop the $300-500 asking price for the Chrono Cross statues just because that game's a big deal to me.
$450 on this beast, its really massive and looks good from any distance
SNAKEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
>>6424452
I hear it's amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm, in flap-jaw space, with the tuning fork, does a raw blink on Hiri-Kiri rock!I need scissors!61!
only been collecting a month or two after finding a near full set of 2012 and 13 ninja turtles for five bucks
spent exactly 150 dollars on figures so far and the most expensive was figma link for forty bucks.
