Here's a quick WIP of my mecha musume amputee kit. Still lots of sanding, a bit of shaping, and I need to figure out a good way to make the ribbons. Pretty happy with how these are turning out, but it was surprisingly difficult making sure the stumps attached flush. Working on FAG first, but I also want to do MD, shinki, and Picco Neemo stumps and covers.

I wouldn't bet on seeing DC versions of getter 2 and 3. Though I do think there's a fair chance of getting Getter Dragon.

Mafex figures never look as good as the prototypes and are mostly notorious for appalling QC issues.
Mezco's usually come out looking better than the prototype and have a reputation for pretty solid QC.
Seems like a no-brainer, especially seeing as X-Men doesn't get much merchandise any more.

MAFEX quality is really spotty in my experience. I've gotten a kind of fucked up figure from Mezco once too but I've bought a ton of them and the rest have been fine. Every MAFEX figure I've bought has been kind of troublesome. Some in just small annoying ways, some in kind of figure-ruining ways. I think that Spider-Man looks really good, better than the SHF looks-wise, but I'm personally not comfortable buying it unless I see a lot of positive reviews that say the quality has stepped up compared to previous releases in the line.

Machine Robo/Gobots reboot thread. They just updated to post some color shots of Missiletank Robo and Shuttle Robo coming in August. Plus they are apparently launching another, larger scale 'DX' ine that's more toy accurate starting with Bike Robo. Does anyone still care about the line? I don't hear any buzz in the usual circles about it. Are they going to make it to the bigger designs?
