Hey guys, I returned home for the holidays and upon checking out my toys some of them, specially Revoltech figures, figmas and SAS, have some kind of 'dust' or 'mold' on them, easily removable but clearly different from common dust.
The climate around here is pretty humid, so could it be mold? It seems pretty mild, but I don't want my toys to succumb to mold. Are my toys screwed? Is there anything I could do?

Mold thrives in unchecked humidity so maybe. It's not sticky right? If it's sticky it's plasticizer leaking. It could also just be dust that got nasty due to excess humidity.
Use an air conditioner. Humidity isn't good for toys or lots of things in general.

Frame Arms Group Build
This time the idea is to build any Frame Arms, or Frame Arms Girl kit, and paint and customize it.
The rules are overall pretty simple, the base must be recognizable as FA or FA Girl, other than that there's no limit on what you can do.
Due Date: September 1st
Note: This is a prize build, there will be a prize provided by me, there will also be a mystery prize provided by another anon. That means that to enter, I need WIP pictures submitted before the due date. Simply email me some pictures of you working on it, I don't care at what point, as long as it's possible to tell where your final product came from.

I'm really struggling to get this acrylic to not leave brush strokes. I'm using some stuff I was given by a friend to try, he does a lot of art and I just asked for some acrylics and bought a cheap ball twin set to try it out on.
Any tips for how thin I should try to get it? Too thin and it runs off, too thick and it leaves brush marks.

Thin the paint until it is self leveling.
When using thinned paint, load less of it onto the brush. Try dipping only the tip into the paint and let it pick up the paint through capillary action.
If it beads up, it means the surface is the problem. Use a rougher primer or coarser grit sandpaper

best way to get into Burst in my opinion is with Takara beys rather than Hasbro, they're better in almost every way, especially if you're looking to play competitive. But there are choices for Hasbro, basic Layers (ones that don't have K2, R2, V2 ect. after the name) are the most compact you can go, Roktavor, Unicrest, and Valtryek are about the best basics for Hasbro, and Gravity/Heavy paired with Defense or Accel are good choices.
No LR shooters exist yet in Hasbro or Takara, but Takara has left spin shooters due to being ahead of releases.
