Monthly Building Challenge:
Your challenge this month is to design a Microfighter for a vehicle that doesn't have one yet. It can be of any property, as long as it has 100 or less pieces, seats 1 minifig, and is cute and chibi. Get swooshing!
Spamming shit pics to create a new thread sooner is super gay.
Never do that again.
Reminder that if you ONLY MAKE VEHICLESHIT you're a WEENIE and should give up your bricks to people who will use them better.

Bleh.
Why is it so difficult to make a good Spider-Man AF? I've been waiting for a long time for the perfect Spidey figure, but I'm almost settling for a ToyBiz Sentinel Wave FA Spider-Man or the McFarlane one (even though I think the McFarlane's version legs are too skinny/crooked, and the ball joint is awkward).
Interesting tho, Scarlet Spider figures are surprisingly nice
So, what Spider-Man did you choose for your collection? Why? Any obscure nice Spider-Man figures?
>>5790475
i think the bigger problem is that there are so many good ones, that its hard to settle. I just want ONE spider-man or some other capeshit, but they keep making a new one every year. im always afraid to buy one because i may end up with a now inferior waste of money
Spider-Hulk is also the coolest
I thinkt he Mafex ASM2 one is pretty damn great, with one terrible flaw being the lack of butterfly joints at the shoulder or any sort of facsimile of that articulation; getting his arms across his chest to do a two hand swinging pose is impossible on most forward angles. Otherwise; yeah the shiny paint is a bit odd, but I don't mind it, and he's very fun to fiddle with.

He also has loose joints out the butthole, but at least he scales with ML
Tell me about some toys that took you the longest to find, be it price, rarity, limited production like a special edition, or one off production.
I want to know what has been a struggle for you.
For me, I finally crossed off one of the harder toys I've been trying to find.
I scored this Ninja Gattai Muteki Shogun after months of searching from a German ebay auction for a total of $90 including shipping.
Granted it's missing the small red weapons for the individual shogun zords, and it's box, it's still an unbelievable find. Other auctions that included the box, with or without the weapons are going for $400 on ebay.
The American version of this Mech has it's arm replaced with a Pink Ninjazord, lacking chrome on every ninjazord, a flimsy, bendy, matte gold Sword.
Incredibly ugly.
For me, it'd have to be a sentai toy as well. DX victory robo.
Lightspeed Rescue is my favorite power rangers series and was also the first one I ever paid attention to. Whilst the BoA version is pretty good on its own merit, I wanted the Japanese version since it was the full DX Chogokin experience.
I was looking for one for a year or so. I wanted one that didn't have the stickers applied and didn't have a yellowed white ambulance. Patience paid off, since I found one pretty much mint in box for 120$ off of mandarake. Probably my luckiest find to date.
I also found muteki shogun and tsubasamaru ( with working lights and sound) off of mandy as well, but I paid around 300$ total for the whole set.
Victory robo was my grail too, since childhood. So I'm happy I have my Grail.
What is this toy name? let me know.
That appears to be 200x Beast Man

Guaranteed Strong
Thank you I really wanted to know
Best glue/adhesive/bonding agent for figure repair? I got a lot of things that need stickin
Also, do I need separate ones for hard and soft plastic?
>>5790129
It really depends what you are repairing and where it is. But the strongest thing is plastic cement, which melts plastic back together but certainly isn't useful for all situations.
>>5790129
my preference is gel-based glue. ive found a pack or two at 99c stores for those rare fixes
I remember from my childhood, there were these toys that were kinda like tech deck dudes but I can't remember the name. The best way I could describe is that they were collectible characters that looked like Minecraft characters that each had a sticker on them and their limbs made clicking sounds when you moved them and they could stack on top of eachother. Anybody know what I'm talking about or am I crazy and just imagining this
>>5788987
fuuuuuck, I remember these, they were happy meal toys once. Now that you post this, I can't think of the name for the life of me; it's on the tip of my tongue though.

THANK YOU SO MUCH BASED ANON
For those unfamiliar, "Plamo" is a shortened form of "plastic model." If it's made of plastic, someone can probably help you here.

***GM Group Build***
Rules:
Pick an HG GM, and paint and customize it. For it to count as a GM, it literally just has to have GM in the name of the MS on the box, otherwise, no, it doesn't count. As far as customizing it, I'm going to place a limit on that. The limit is 50% additions to the kit.
To define 50%, look at it like this, you could take a GM Custom and replace the arms (including shoulders), legs, and backpack and I'd call that 50%. I'm not counting handheld bits in that. If you're unsure of something please ask in IRC, the thread, or email.
Due Date: 8/12
Submissions go to [email protected]
Submission format
Please submit photos in jpg via a compressed file (zip, rar, or 7zip), please don't link images to imgur or photobucket or the like. Please also name yourself, even if it's a pseudonym. Also indicate your participation in the contest below.
***Contest***
Instead of doing just a generic group build this time, there's going to be a prize pack. The prize pack will contain a GM Sniper K9, a set of glass paint mixing jars, and a Tamashii stand (sized for HGs or RDs). Shipping is at my expense.
Rules for the contest:
If you wish to enter the contest I'm going to actually need some proof. Please send me pictures of your kit as a work in progress and a final product with a timestamp and your email address. I hate to put his burden on you guys but this is the internet and people suck.
Judging
Regardless of who wins the contest proper, all entries will be made available on a blog post on Saturday, August 13th. Actual judging will take place Saturday as well, with the winner announced that evening. The winner will be contacted via email and be given a two day grace period for responding. PLEASE USE AN ACTIVE EMAIL WHEN SUBMITTING!

She's at 19th place.
I'm not sure if this is the original or the reproduction. Someone please tell me!
Why would it matter?
Well, I'm trying to get original toys for a small collection that I'm doing, and I want to know if it is a reproduction.
Nobody here is going to know anything about your faggot-ass jack in the box, Tristan.
