/3pg/: legends scale gods edition
Old thread >>5775333
TFcon happens at the end of the week which means third party announcements out the ass. Is your wallet prepared?
>>5785044
>preparing wallets
>for 3rd party figures
I was under the impression that you don't save much buying 3rd parties at TFcon
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZZI5HrA8ik
>HasTak is directly competing with 3P by releasing MPs every month.
>Keith owns everything.
>There are only about four people running all third party companies.
>Talk of a "middleman" who distributes to Asia who bullies all third parties. All American companies get their stock from him.
>There is a LOT of drama behind the scenes.
>Spinout was a POS on purpose. There's another Sunstreaker coming out soon and Spinout's manufacturing was sabotaged to appear inferior.
>Quality issues are usually caused by bad assembly team (designs are too complicated for them to understand) or rushed mold process.
>Dr. Wu goes to the factory himself to supervise assembly of his products.
>Dr. Wu (the person) doesn't get along with Keith. He is also a real doctor.
>HasTak like to show up at third party factories. They also like to talk with the 3P designers and share ideas.
>HasTak had a MP Bruticus in the works for the Year of the Decepticon, one Combaticon every other month. This was canned.
>Galvatron was planned for 2015, but was messed up because of Takara's designer.
>Designs for 3P figures are purposefully sabotaged so that upgrades can be made later to make more money.
>3P has inside info on new Takara releases, usually because of Takara employees blabbing.
>>5785058
>KFC owns everything
lol wut

This isn't a toy
What are my options for an MGS1 Snake figure? Are any of them worth buying?
Mcfarlane action figure
Yamato 1/6 doll
Revol mini

None are worth getting, but revolmini is probably the least awful
/thread
>>5781416
They all suck.
all part from revol-mini.
unless you want a babby snake then go for the nendoroid
> revoshills

>>5781170

maybe it's the fact I suck at posing, but has anyone got Mashin Chaser to actually press his palm against the Break Gunner?
Any specific brand of paint that matches what Bandai uses fairly closely? I've been wanting to touch up some of my Ultra 500 vinyls.
>>5772479
Mr. Color and Gaia Color is pretty good.
though if it is metallic paints you want to use, then I'll recommend Gaia Color.
Thoughts on robotic toys? Always kind of wanted an Aibo growing up
It's not as much a problem these days, but growing up, I was always frustrated by the fact that most of the 'robots' were glorified RC cars, with tires swapped for gear-teeth so you'd get a 'forward' action, a 'reverse' action and, if you were lucky, left and right would be separate from the first two.
>>5769838
I've always really wanted an aibo but can never justify $600 + for a robot as old and irreplaceable as aibo are.
I do have a pleo I got for $30 off ebay and it's pretty cute. People are always impressed by how real it moves and it does respond to its surroundings in an unpredictable way.
>>5769844
I felt your kid selfs pain anon. I was also frustrated by shitty rc "robots" as a kid. Wowee's robots are barely more than rc cars even now.
>>5769864
>30$
What? How??
What are my best options for Evangelion figures? There seem to be a shitton of companies all doing the same thing in different scales
>>5763146
Clearly Eva godzilla is the holy grail of Eva figures
>>5763146
Robot Damashii Eva 01
Revoltech EVO Eva 01
SOC Eva 01
RAH NEO Eva 01
Depending on your preference, you'll want one of these. Which one being the best is purely subjective, and anybody below who decides to argue about it is faggots.
>>5763156
Yes, but what are the differences between the 4?
NECA Thread: Scarface edition.
Are you excited for him and Clan Leader?
How many Predators do you have already?
>>5760832
>Are you excited for him and Clan Leader?
him yes, Clan Leader not so much. he looks like a great figure but all my hype is being sucked away by Scarface.
>How many Predators do you have already?
3. NES Predator, Chopper and Masked Scar.
Still waiting for these fags
>>5760832
i'm waiting for both but seems like they're delayed again
Collection thread
Since the last one was deleted for no raisin
>>5759485
Why crowd three detolfs but leave the fourth empty?
One anon who spoke on behalf of all two anons who have a problem with my collection said they're upset about never seeing the actual figures.
Okay,
1/5
>>5759521
Never Ever in your collection edition
ITT: we discuss any Star Wars related figures Movies, EU or otherwise
Never ever indeed. I found the E-Wing and Jabba's Sail Barge from that wave, but never the TIE Defender.
>>5758839
at this point im still debating whether or not just to man up and drop the 200 or so that most of them go for before they are all bought up or keep trying my luck/drowning the pain of not owning one of these by collection those little starship magazines
>Action Fleet
Oh damn, I had quite a few of these. My favorite was the AT-AT that was remote controlled, and it had a little snow covered display base with AT-AT footprint impressions. It was cool having it walk all over the fold-out Hoth base.
NO GAME DISCUSSION SHITHEADS. TALK TOYS ONLY.
SHARE GUIDES TO THEMYSTERY MINIS, BLINDBAG CLIPS OR OTHER SUCH THINGS.
Or, talk about the other figures, foxy is the best, and worth getting if you like the look, golden freddy can do the game pose, but needs to be popped apart a bit to do it.
>stop making fun of my crap ripoff of a bad game, hugbox only
Did OP delete or did mods swoop in?
>>5748019
>HEY! you still dont own a sega cd?!
I love these pictures, anyone else? Find your favorites and put 'em in
