>The strongest DnD/Pathfinder party you've ever been a part of has to go up against Guts in his Berserker Armor.
Guts is sure that you are all servants of Griffith, and it would take a huge fucking charisma roll to convince him otherwise.
You encounter one another in a ruined colosseum. Who wins?
C'mon, man. Just because you just found out about Berserk doesn't mean you have to make ten Berserk threads every day.

FAQ:
>What the fuck is this?
Somewhat a campaign of crack-infused free-form roleplay in the grim darkness of the far future.
>When do you guys make these threads?
Usually mondays at 4PM GMT, but they sometimes extend to Tuesdays if we got caught in the middle of something when the thread died and it was too late to make another one the same day.
>Can I join in?
Sure, just think of a character and have fun, you can find most info in 1d4chan albeit it's ussually a little bit out of date in comparison to where the threads are.
>Is there any requirement in character creation.
Not really, we've had Xeno infiltrators, Chaos infiltrators, Villains, Heroes, Normal Guardsmen, Crazed Guardsmen, Assassins, Psykers, Space Marines, Inquisitors, Squats... just think whathever and join the fun.
>Is it allowed to have more than a single character?
Yes as long as you don't use it to powerplay.
>So how you guys do the playan'?
We tend to use spoilers for OOC chat, but nothing is set in stone.
We tend to use greentexts for describing a character's actions, but again nothing is set in stone.
Use d20s for combat checks and d100s for other things you want to roll, higher Is better.
It's important to know that the regiment is now in the employ of a radical Ordo Xenos Inquisitor, with influence from an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor and under the watch of an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor. Yes we've been through a lot of shit.
>The young NCO would lean himself into the folding chair beneath him. The exhaustion from running the F.O.B. all by himself finally kicking in.

>What are you working on?
Another magic system, I'm starting to get sick of classic vancian. Been thinking of magic it two-parted, with the wizard being able to do simple but interesting cantrips (Beyond the Wall style) and also powerful but dangerous spells (DCC style). There would be no middle ground.
I talked a DM into letting me replace my character's heart with a Dragon's heart. We've decided that dragon's breath weapons don't come from the heart but from another organ in the body. With that in mind, what effects would you see the character feeling. It was an adult Blue at the time of removal.
>>48215329
>With that in mind, what effects would you see the character feeling.
The major effect would be death, followed by death, and a sidedish of death. Let's assume for some reason that ripping out your own heart and replacing it with the dragon's heart is not a problem. Let's assume your body doesn't reject it. How does it function?
Your veins and arteries are not the size of a dragon's. Or are you also transmogrifying your circulatory system? If so, why not just transform into a dragon entirely?
>>48215357
had it shrunk down to the appropriate size and transplanted both using science and magic
>>48215329
Manifestations/surges of magical power, a la Sorcerers. If you aren't a Sorcerer then it should be uncontrolled, maybe inconvenient or even dangerous to you.
It could add some Lightning resistance.

First question, has our shitposting gotten to the level where we need a pastebin filterlist for the omnipresent bait?
As someone who hasn't played in a while could someone please fill me in on what CAD and formations are? In fact I don't know about anything outside of the FOC so help would be appreciated.

When you play 30k
You must change the look, not the fluff, of one faction. I'd give SoBs skirts like pic related.
So how does hollywood and D&D get blacksmiths wrong?
>>48236121
>exposed flesh
>>48236121
According to DnD it takes like a year to make a suit of plate armor, which is factually incorrect. Takes like 2 weeks plus change.
>>48236121
I have a little bit of experience in actual blacksmithing. I've not noticed to much difference other then a fantasy aspect to DnD.

>Not anymore. GW is turning over a new leaf with things. They reoppened their facebook pages with interaction. They are doing community feedback FAQs, and the General's handbook, which is coming out next weekend, has the matched play and points system, as well as a few narrative campaign systems.
A pity that couldn't have happened before they axed the tomb kings army I was trying to get
>>48234945
It actually started happening before they squatted the tomb kings and brets. Sorry bro.
But there is a chance they may be back. They just don't fit in the story right now.
>>48234910
so with the new generals handbook unit upgrades dont cost any points??
What was the worst idea you or your players had come with? Did it miraculously worked or it failed?
>>48207085
My worst idea to date as a GM is my planned Mass Effect/Mutant Chronicles cross over setting. It's a loose collection of notes right now and I doubt I'll ever try telling my players about it. The whole thing spawned out of a conversation with a friend after a game of warzone about what would happen if the main antagonistic force(the Dark Soul and it's apostles and legions) of Mutant Chronicles was unleashed by some of the Mass Effect races after first contact with humanity.
I think I'll leave it to rot in my notebook, most of my "original" ideas end up flopping, this wouldn't be any different.
I had a player who once tried to do this:
https://youtu.be/-pUhraVG7Ow?t=1m6s
Without taking cover
Trying to fight a Lasombra Ancilla with a hand help M2 machine gun. I did this by charging into an obscured building, with no visual on the target and without even trying to lay down some suppressing fire. Needless to say I got ashed in one round of combat.
Do you bother creating a real dungeons, or are you one of these shitty GM who's okay with just having a bunch of rooms connected together?
>>48242337
Elves are shit.
>>48242337
real dungeons.
Sort of. I mean they're not always actually dungeons, they're more like alchemist labs, refurbished caves/mines, hidden cultists temples/shrines, and decently intact abandoned forts/castles.
Dungeons might crop up in those but dungeons are rarely the whole thing.
Typically don't even do dungeons.
We did one recently that was part of a "game show for funds" as kind of a spoof thing to hand wave travel expenses since I feel that weighs the game down.
But as far as "You enter the room. Roll perception. You see a monster and some traps" dungeons, those have only come up once as a novelty. It was a fun distraction but we just don't fit them into our game's narrative.
We're more likely to encounter "the wrath of nature" (i.e. quick sand, bogs that make carts useless, animals and beasts stealing our shit / picking a fight.)
