You get some new technobabble words to use for your sublight drives. But it isn't likely you really gave a fuck about reaction mass as it was, so no actual impact. And FTL remains the rutting elephant bull in the room whenever you want to care about realism at all really.

Pathfinder is a shitty game because 3.5 is a shitty game and Pathfinder doesn't fix any of that. If nothing else it does exactly what it was designed and built to do: sells to spergs who were e-raging against 4e circa 2008 and capitalize on the meme that 4e was a bad wow-clone and cast themselves (by contrast only, not through any actual merit or substance) as the "one true soul of REAL D&D".

Do you guys ever feel pathetic for investing in your hobby?
For some reason every time I put in time towards some card or board game, I feel like a huge loser who's wasting time. But if it's towards anything else like video games or artwork, I feel like I'm not being a total spastic.
Is it just cultural association with these things? Time invested against rewards obtained?

Fate and Apocalypse World are almost complete opposites, so seeing them both referred to as "storygames" is pretty weird to me.
I can't talk about Fate, because I am really not a fan of generic systems and Fate is as generic as it gets, but AW's appeal is that it's a pretty damn great post-apocalyptic RPG
The GM section makes running a sandbox game quite easy, even for complete newbies. The mechanics are easy to learn and to explain. They let the players shape the game to their expectations directly and indirectly. They excel at driving conflict between characters. They are fine-tuned to support and embody the intended setting.
