So /qst/, here are rules:
>Everyone get to pick a civ
>NOT fantasy
>Technology of world is arount ~100 A.D.
>Everyone chooses a starting area on map, capital city, other city. Also population distribution is decided by player (Capital city must always have most pop)
>Every turn 2 actions, 1 tech action and 1 culture action (may leave any kind of action out if you want)
>Combat fairly simple (will explain when time comes

This is a choose your own story type of RP, you could ignore the main plot and create your own sub plot, you just choose a faction and decide what to do.

Mercenary, Army, Bandit, Explorer, Scientist, Anarchist
RULES
Must act like your faction, for example if you are a scientist you don't just kill everyone you see, that's more of a bandit type of thing

When combat is activated each one roll a dice, the one with a higher number wins

Rules for Evoquest

General: take any animal in the thread and evolve it by giving it something that would be beneficial to it. Explain why it would be important to the creature to have it (we don't have eyes "just because", they serve a purpose). Extinction will come either from random natural occurrences, being outmoded, or loss adaptability. In all cases, they are removed from the game and opens up their niche.
Be Sane: Regardless of your personal beliefs, these animals wont just up and pop out legs, it take many successive generations to get the desired effect. Don't try to evolve something physically impossible (I.E magic). Fire breathing or electric stunning can happen, but only if explained biologically.
Be Creative: The previous rule doesn't mean that nature isn't insane. Don't be afraid to be silly or disgusting or just plain evil. In fact its encouraged, because its part of the charm.
Don't Get Greedy: Let others have a chance and make something. Don't try to B-Line toward any goal unless you think it would be fun. There is no goal in evolution.
Have Fun: if your species gets killed off in one way or another, just make another. Don't get mad that your thing died off, be excited at the new possibilities

The year is 19XX, in a world bearing similarities to ours, though not an exact parallel of it. There exists in this world a large continent divided into four major regions (North, East, South, West), but the setting of this story is much smaller.
A drifter named James Dylan arrived at and began wandering on a dark, lonely street of an unfamiliar town aimlessly at night, poor, hungry, and dying for a drink.
An absolute nobody, he enters this town in search of "purpose", but remains unsure of what exactly this "purpose" is as of the moment.
This night, just like many others before, he was faced with the decision of where to go next. He notices ahead of him, a church, and off to side, what appears to be a bar. The rumbling of his own stomach catches him off guard, prompting him to remember that he hasn't had much to eat in the past few days.

The day after that, while collecting firewood, James was abducted from above. Discovering a newfound fear of heights, James freaked out and fainted. Upon waking, he found the latest target of his sex inquisition; a Harpy Den. The Harpy’s, however, were a little more forceful than his usual game, so James tried intimidation magic over bravado. It scared the shit out of them. After that things went their usual pace. Unfortunately, James was lacking his Orc wife, which due to binding magic would soon kill him. Apparently, he needn’t have worried, because right after asking for her, karma kicked in and he fell off a cliff. This killed James.

While dead, he met Death, who, like every fucking thing in this godforsaken power fantasy, was an attractive woman. Can you guess what happened next? Either way, Death took pity on James and, because he tried so hard, decided to send him back.
Upon awakening, James found himself surrounded by concerned loved ones, and immediately moved on to the subject matter of which Harpy he’d fuck next. He chose Galla, who would be the best singer of the bunch, if Harpy’s could sing. This also entailed a binding ritual.

Seeing as he was already up, James decided the next course of action was to seek new wives beyond the mountain range, but to do that would involve talking to goblins. Before he could meet them though, his camp was attacked by a Flame Elemental. Apparently word was getting out about that prophecy, and she wanted a piece. However, before she could scorch his dick off, James launched a truly impressive surge of semen, which drenched and incapacitated the Flamekin.
Once again, dick magic solves everything.
This had consequences, though, when he finally met the Goblins. James experienced magic Roid-rage and attacked...
