Create your own tribe, whole advancing through ages. We will make 3 tribes and more will be discovered as the map grows to create a tribe. Pick:
1. where on the map
2. pick government form( eg nomads, small villages ruled democratically, large villages run by rich)
3. pick plus +1 tech, +1 culture, or +1 action that is accordance with culture.
To get a little in touch, you are all hunter gathers that have migrated from different areas. You've hunted off much of the local animal population, so you will have to either produce your own food or find better techniques to find animals

Finding himself in a dirty motel room in the bad side of town isn't atypical for our protagonist. A seasoned detective, diving headfirst into the parts of the city that most people are comfortable to sweep under the rug comes with the job. So, it was that this case started like any other case. Some poor sap got themselves killed, and he gets called in to sort it out.

Well, that's enough monologuing for now. First things first, let's go over the facts of the case. Then, let's do as we always do.

>3 determines the victim's name

You are a chaos lord named Belal, a member of the Black Legion who has a grand destiny ahead of you.

You are seated upon a throne in your personal battleship the Sourge, down a great hall bears icons to the Dark Gods, a squad of tactical marines guarding the enterince to the throneroom, and behind is your pseronal quarters. Containing trophies, weapons and artifacts

(rolls are 1d100 with higher being better, and any rolls of 66, 77, 88, or 99 will result in that action being chosen above all and "enhanced", as it has clearly been blessed by the Dark Gods. Let's make a spiritual succesor to Abbadon Quest huh?)

You are a Cave Hydra, big and mighty. Right now, you've found yourself covered in minor wounds that start to now sting together with your quite huge wound on your neck. All because you had to put a rather huge amount of effort to kill the Blue Ape that challenged you in this siege.

With the humanoid beast turned into paste under your limb, you notice that the red and black blob of humans have advanced further into the city. The Erazmo States army stopped being so aggressive with the defense right at the gate and fell back into the safety of tight alleyways. And to top it all off, you will be forced to actually try and navigate yourself in these tight passages to kill the highest amount of 'your' enemies in order to be rewarded.

Island quest
You're on a big island
What happened?
>>113252
You are now in a village with english speaking people, telling them about the world of today
They tell you about the island.
They tried going inward from the shore, but whenever they tried to go in the center of the lake, they died.
You have your punctured foot wrapped with a shirt, and they offer to more properly patch it up as well as feed you the fish you brought them.
What do?

THERE SURE ARE A LOT OF RISK THREADS

But I've wanted to do this one all day, so fuck it.

Start out by posting
>Name & Nation Name
>Color
>Starting location

rules are in the OP image, but let me give you a basic rundown

You start with a 5-tile nation

Each round, roll 1d+100000 (In the Options field if you didn't know), and name a direction to expand in.

HOW NUKES WORK

Nukes blast a 5-tile radius and black that section out. Nobody can pass through that section, or occupy it.

Wars are decided by countering rolls.

Say, if Nation 1 wants to battle Nation 2, and they have bordering lands. Nation 1 rolls and his roll lets him take 20 spaces, Nation 2 rolls and his roll lets him take 25 spaces. Nation 2 wins, and occupies 5 spaces of enemy territory.

All other rules are in the OP image, I'll mark down NAP's and alliances as you make them.

We start at 3. Have fun!

(This thread won't die in 3 minutes, I'll be here for a significant portion of the night)

Let's get cracking! You can catch up with the archive of part 1 here:

http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?tags=Jara%20and%20the%20Valley%20of%20Secrets

There's an abridged version here:

http://imgur.com/gallery/ncUU6

Previously: Due to some questionable decisions and awful rolls, our plucky adventurer is dead, and about 1820 years have passed since her reincarnation in the Demon Realm. She's spent 1800 of those years as an obsidian statue. In that time a religion based on her big ass rose from obscurity to conquer and civilize all of Hell. A few centuries ago it fell to barbarians. Oh well.

For the last hundred years or so she's been buried in a trash heap outside of Ass City, the once-capital of all Hell. Now she wakes. From her point of view, she was teleported to this strange place by the wand she used on herself.

Oh and there's a snake behind her. Actually it's her tail now. Because of some poor rolls earlier, it's an evil snake tail. Its evil nature does not necessarily mean that it will hinder Jara--but it might betray her, if it sees an opportunity for itself, or the rolls go to shit.

A crawler pod trundles by. A figure steps out with an Anomaly Scanner. His keen eyes have spotted movement. The Demons are looking for something here. Jara has no idea what any of this stuff is.

Let's roll a d3 to see what the snake-tail does, as it woke up a few minutes before Jara.

1: The snake-tail lets out a shrill squeal, alerting the scavenger to Jara's presence.
2: The snake-tail waits for the scavenger to pass, then bites him in the leg.
3: The snake-tail lifts a nearby rock and throws it as a distraction, giving Jara time to free herself from the dried mud.

I'd also like a second roll to find out about the scavenger. A d10 please.

1: the scavenger is a mad, cannibalistic demon who recently stole a crawler pod and ate the original owner.
2-5: the scavenger works for Mecha-Arzelus, searching for parts of the Human World Portal device.
6-8: the scavenger is simply in it for the money, and he works his way through the trash of Ass City in search of anything that might be worth a buck or two.
9-10: the scavenger is a secret Asstolicist--now a forbidden, underground religion--and Jara is their messiah.

Kabalite Quest 2

Let's get this awful party started edition

Previous thread: >>60647

Very-much-work-in-progress stats: http://pastebin.com/xwgpX64i

Brief Recap: You are Verynthor Sollint, warrior of the Kabal of Shattered Masks. You hate your Archon with a passion, but know that you can't do much in your current state. In between raids, you have been hanging about with your 'friends' Jekkyt and Ortaem. While Jekkyt opted to stay in the hangar and get high on Obscura, you and Ortaem decided to stretch your legs around the slave markets. In doing so, you ended up prowling the nearby alleyways and discovered a pair of gangers discussing some sort of scheme that involved your Kabal by name. You decided to ambush them.
173 posts and 15 images submitted.
>>
You leap around the corner of the alleyway right behind Ortaem, Splinter Pistol leveled at your target’s chest. Both gangers have brief looks of horror and surprise before the shorter one finds Splinter rounds sprouting from his stomach and the taller one has an angry Kabalite pinning him to the ground and stabbing his sides with a Wychknife.
Holstering your pistol quickly, you move to secure your prize, rushing forward and shoulder-checking the ganger you just shot. Knocking him to the ground on his back, you quickly plant a boot on his chest and press down. All you hear from beneath you is gurgling and strained breathing. You shoot a quick glance over at Ortaem, who has her own victim secured to the ground, before turning back to your own captive. Kneeling, but still pressing down with your foot square on his ribs, you look him dead in the eye with a smile that lacks any warmth. His eyes are full of panic and intense pain as the impact from the Splinter shard combined with the toxins now flowing through his body take their toll. He doesn’t even seem to process the fact that you’re on top of him, he’s far too focused on the agony flowing through his veins.
“Not as quick on your feet as you should be.” You chide him. “I’m surprised either of you were still on the street, what with your slow reaction times.” A howl of pain comes from the other ganger and a quick look over your shoulder shows that Ortaem has decided to start flaying one of her victim’s hands.
“You’re a bit lucky, getting me instead of her.” You whisper down to your victim. You’re frankly not sure if he can process what you’re saying, his eyes are darting around too fast to be focusing on any one thing. You should probably work fast… unless you specifically try to fix him up, the toxins will probably kill him within the hour.
>”Who do you work for?”
>”What were you planning?”
>”How is our Kabal involved?”

You’re also not confined to any one of these questions, feel free to ask any combination as well as your own suggestions.

>"How is our Kabal involved?"

You press your boot harder onto his ribcage, just to get his attention. Finally, he looks up at you specifically, though he still seems to be focusing more on the pain his his gut.

"Tell me... why do you not want to involve the Shattered Mask? How does whatever you're planning involve our Kabal?"

The ganger puts both hands on your boot and desperately tries to move it off, to relieve the pressure in his chest. You oblige him by taking your boot of his chest, only to then deliver a swift kick to the side of his head. He curls up in a fetal position, groaning and sobbing from the pain all over. Among other things, you find this to be nourishing and you can't help but sup from this wretch's pain.

>Pain Tokens: 1

Eventually, his sobbing gives way to something approximating coherent speech, though he lacks the sarcasm that had previously characterized his voice when you were eavesdropping on him and his companion.

"I don't... know. We were just told... not to involve you."

Your hands find their way to his throat as you prop him up against the alleyway wall. "You should know that lying is not going to help you." As if to punctuate your point, Ortaem's victim lets loose an even louder scream of pain from before as she triumphantly holds aloft the flayed skin of on his whole fingers. She works quick, apparently. At the very least, she isn't killing him. Yet.

The lake tribe are a group of farmers and fishermen who make decisions by voting. They love to throw festivals and dance to reed flute music. Most recently, their egg that they obtained from the meteor hatched to reveal a grotesque creature, and at 2 years old, it grows was larger than a horse! Many fishermen from the fish party argue vehemently that the monster is cutting into their fishing profession, but may farmers want to keep the monster, arguing it protects the tribe from predators and scares away pests that may ruin crops! Tensions are high, and there are some talks among more radical fishermen of relocating altogether!

The plains tribe recently found some iron while excavating the giant ravine to the south. The shaman and chief are thinking of its uses in becoming an even stronger material than the rock from the hammers they traded with the sky tribe not too long ago. The chief still has his eye on the firerock from the meteor, and his ambitions are to use them as material for their tools and weapons. Some tribesmen are becoming anxious after years of settled life, and fear the chief may have lost his nomadic touch. However, they are loyal to the chief as long as the shaman has appointed him, but the shaman is getting old and may not be around for much longer...

The shop is quiet save for Gordo’s light, poppy music selection. An older man, face well weathered from years of manual labour reads a newspaper over his sesame seed bagel: the sole customer at Bean City. The weather, for a change, has been consistently sunny since you woke up for work, and you feel uncomfortably warm in your jeans and t-shirt.

By the time you had gotten in after the fight last night, exhaustion had finally overtaken adrenaline and you had passed out the moment you sat down.

You glance at your phone, idly wiping at a counter while Gordo restocks cups. The Rain City sections of PHO and /ca/ have been abuzz with rumours around your fight with Belts. Fortunately, it seems that just about everyone has picked up the name Blindside as canon, and a few fairly high-quality cellphone shots of you doing battle with the Red Boys lieutenant are being posted with regularity.

It’ll be good for publicity, you think to yourself, but is publicity necessarily a good thing?

One picture seems to be getting posted more than any other, and you can’t help but remark that it’s quite a flattering shot: your costumed self stands over a fallen Belts, your body in a relaxed fighting stance, your three-eyed helmet slightly upturned and looking elsewhere into the crowd, the harsh spotlights creating a dramatic chiaroscuro. You save it to your SD card.

“What’s more interesting than me?”

You look up from your phone. Gordo leans against the wall, drinking a cup of coffee.

“Just checking up on some stuff.”

He takes another sip, nodding towards the espresso machine. You start going through the mechanical motions of making yourself a cup; the crisp, hot smell of brewing coffee never ceases to lift your spirits.

“You end up checking out that cape fight last night?” Gordo doesn’t dig further into your ‘stuff,’ “Clark and Luke didn’t see you there, you seemed pretty on board the other night apparently.”

You do your best to act nonchalant, raising the steaming mug to your mouth,

“I had a thing come up, you know how it is. I’ll shoot Clark a text maybe, figure something out next time.”

“Hey man, I don’t need to know the details of your love life,” he smirks and puts his coffee down, approaching the till to greet an errant customer.

You check the time on your phone, 1:57pm. Only three minutes left in your shift. You dump out the cracked, mismatching green mug that serves as a tip jar, a cascade of loose change scattering across the counter. You slide the coins back and forth in pairs, making two separate piles. All told, your tiny hoard comes to nine dollars, twenty five cents on the button.

Brrrrr, brrrrr. Gordo is still dealing with the customer, a hand idly running through his over the top ginger hairstyle. You check your phone as it vibrates for a second time.

Comes now the march of time, and the emergence of gods! The universe is still fairly new and in constant flux, with various gods appearing to attempt to bring order to the chaos... or not. However, can they get along and cooperate to bring the cosmos to peace and harmony, or will they tear it and themselves apart in conflict?

This is, The Age of Transparency

>Choose a name and become a God, and roll 1d100 to speak the WORD and make things happen.
>Anonymous players form a Choir to praise or scorn the works of these Gods as they see fit.
>Every god must list their primary domains(max 3) and gets to assign 30 points between them to be used as a bonus for rolls related to these domains.
>They additionally get 5 points per subdomain of these primaries to assign to their subdomains as they see fit.
>Any divine actions made (creation, destruction, etc...) that's entirely unrelated to the gods' chosen domains receive a penalty of 20 to all rolls.
>Each god additionally has a "Mantle of Power", a title that reflects their true divine self and a single thing that only THEY can do.

And don't forget to roll a d100 when choosing your god and domain, to determine your initial divine power!

I see you implemented the rules of the last universe. Nice.

Dark emptiness was all encompassing. As I drift through the abyss in the aftermath of the battle, I feel lost. How many eras have passed? Or maybe it's only been moments. It's been long since I was lacking an understanding of time. The battle with the beast from the nether took a heavy toll on me, casting it into the void has left a dark stain on my divine soul, the implications of this are unknown to me. I do not know how I came to return to this place, some voice from the void seemingly guided me back. But I see the universe as I left it, and feel a twinge in my very soul. It's great to be home.

I am perpatus, the eye of time, who's power is 134 and who's mantle is manipulation of the waves of time.

You are the 337th son of the world lord, Telshan.
You have outshined your brothers and sisters to be the fourth to be given the distinction of world lord. You throw aside your appearance, your name, and all of your ways to become the immortal walking god of a people. You must build their civilization up from the mud on this virgin world and ascend into greatness.

There are many species on this world(see image below.) You must choose which you will take the form of to lead and where you will start your mighty civilization.
