Do you take your pupper along with you on car rides?
>>17227477
yeah but the first ride in 2 years i took him in my new car it kept fucking breaking down haha.
glad my doggo is patient dogge
Guy on the right when I have to, he doesn't really enjoy the rides, best I can hope for is that he calms down.
Left doggo enjoys car rides and just lays down in his bed looking out the window.
>>17227502
my doggo like braces himself for the g forces in the front passenger well and he knows at the end of the hoon he gets to go for a swim and shit.
loves it.
Hi br/o/s!
I'm a senior in High School, graduating in about 3 weeks. I'm getting my first car in mid June if things go well. Right now I'm pretty set on an '07 Camry SE V6. It has 135k miles on it give or take and no damage on the interior. Will post pics if requested. I test drove it yesterday and there are no mechanical problems as far as I can tell. I gave it the rundown looking for leaks or squeaks and found none.
Obviously it's not a racecar, but it's pretty fast because of the V6. Are there any long term issues that would cause this to be a bad purchase? The asking price is 6,500$ but I think I can knock it down because there's a bit of cosmetic damage on the front bumper. Nothing major. There's also a small dent in the fuel door.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance
>>17226986
go buy a $1k volvo it'll be better
>>17226986
Good to drive and inspect, but I would absolutely get it safetied before buying - especially for $6,500! If you're looking for a "racecar" there are probably better options at your price point, but it looks like a very nice, practical car. Cheers
>>17226986
Adding to my above comment, that car seems way overpriced. I'm actually looking at my first car right now as well, and am a senior in high school. For $6500 you could get something better, or buy a cheaper car and keep the extra money for repairs (you can never be too careful)
>no manual
why
do they not want the boyracer crowd?
i feel this is going to bomb hard, mainly because i bet it'll also have a ridiculous pricetag
>>17226895
Boyracers cant afford a 60k car.
Its probably targeting the same demographic as the alfalfa 4C, whoever that may be
>>17226895
>do they not want the boyracer crowd?
Boyracers dont have money. Average sports car buyers are 47yo men facing midlife crisis, these cars are priced for theml
for all you newfags out there:

If i want to change the color of my car (no issues with the current paint), which would be the better way to go ?
I don't really like the matte look, so would probably go for a shiny one.
Does having it wrapped/dipped affect the way it can be washed/treated?
Ffs Paint is the only answer.
wrap if you know what you're doing, dip if you're a total hack
>>17226535
There are people who enjoy having a different look on the car each year and that's a total hassle with paint compared to the dipshit
Ay.
I have a peugeot 307 1.6 HDi 110cv.
I heard it is possible to tweak the motor to get more power out of it (turbocharger pressure, more fuel, that kind of stuffs). Also please bear with me, I didn't find a thread about those stuffs and may have missed it.
I have a few questions: Can I do those tweaks myself (I do computers for a living, but I don't know many things about car, although I can get around)?
If I can, what tools do I need? If I can't, how much could it cost?
>>17226303

The car isn't unreliable enough for you?
>>17226314
Nah, worked fine so far, except the clutch is slightly touchy.

Who does? I don't know anyone that does.

Middle aged people mostly.
Okay /o/, help me make a sensible choice that I won't deeply regret 5 years down the line.

>>17222501
I bet you think Altimas are the pinnacle of automobile history faggot.
I am an anime enthusiast so I must have a car that reflects my enthusiasm. The problem so that I don't know anything about cars so I'm coming to you /o/ to ask what the most anime car is (no inital d shit please). Also I happen to paint so I was wondering if I could paint animes on my car with acrylic paint or if oils would work better im not sure which would stick to the surface of the car better.

Have you ever had someone take a picture of your car or admire it?
I noticed someone taking a picture of my car for the first time today while in traffic, granted it was a 14 year old kid.
I drive a silvia so I get told to do a skid a couple of times a month if that counts.
They took a picture of your 3k civic to laugh at you, Juan
i get alot of people asking about it or reving at me at lights. Mainly ricers in civics or other miata drivers.
I just have to vent a little bit. Anyone else have busy bodies in your neighborhood who follow you home to bitch about your driving? I do. A lot of them. I was driving home after getting some repairs done on the car and I drifted a few corners. Fast forward 30 minutes later and some old fart is knocking on my door complaining. Fuck you old dude! "Let me talk to your parents" I'm 21 goddamn years old! What are they gonna do?!
So this bitch goes and talks to the cop that lives a few doors down. The cop can't do shit! It's heresay you dumb Fuck. Never been to court or what?
Cop tells me I have to have my license plate fixed to the front of the vehicle, not in my front windshield. Fine. This dumb Fuck busy body doesn't even have a fucking front plate! REEEEEEEEEEE!
I've lost it with these fucks guys. Why can't we euthanize them at 50?
have you considered driving like a normal individual in your neighbourhood instead of a race car driver?
>>17217627
Don't "drift" on public roads in the rpesence of other people like a degenerate
>>17217653
I do for the most part but shit I like to hit the curves now and then. These cucks just can't handle the freedom coming out of my straight pipes.

Overlanding Hobbies Edition:
What hobbies do you pursue while innawoods? In addition to the obvious drinking, smoking cigars and yelling at my wife for losing the flashlight the only other thing I really care about is fly fishing. I used to mountain bike and am thinking about getting back into it.
What do you do? Please tell me about it I am genuinely interested.
