My 1991 Mazda 323F got a lot of attention from older dudes which is fucking weird, but it makes sense because it was the hot shit back then.

My 240z got attention. Honks, waves, people would come up to talk about it. One guy followed me home to talk about it.

My Saab 900 has gotten a few remarks from people that once had them.

One of my cars is an '85 Jaguar Sovereign and everytime I take it out, I always get looks of admiration

I've even had cyclists and teenagers compilment it. I don't have the heart to tell them it's only worth about 7000 Aussie dollars and still needs some work done here and there

I had three people in a year admire my shitbike KLR. No idea why, two asked if it was for sale, even.

Its deliberately ugly and dinged up and I never wash it and it has rust and shit.

Never had people take pics of just my car, but theirs next to mine. Mines an E30. Had someone pose their e36, e46, e28, e92 m3, 2002 next to them

Worked as an elementary school tutor and for Halloween I used the school's poster materials and gave my Cobalt SS an Ecto-1 motif. Parked it out front partially into the school and all the kids wanted a picture with it.

Since my exhaust pipe fell off and my muffler has a hole in it, it's loud as fuck.
Might as well be straight piped with how much fucking noise the bastard puts out.

Anytime I accelerate (or downshift and gets crackles & pops from what's left of the exhaust), if there's someone around, they usually stare at me.

Even if it is obnoxious I enjoy the sound & stares too much to fix it.

And when I'm blasting my music (and I've got a surprisingly decent sound system in there) it only makes my old truck stand out even more.

I used to drive a 1970 Mustang Fastback in Grabber blue. Got lots of attention everywhere. One instance that I remember most fondly was a couple walking by it at the grocery store. The guy was all over the car, while his girl expressed disgust in his "childish" admiration of my car. Girls will never understand will they?

As someone who lives in a Redneck place a surprising number of them aren't all V-8's and pick ups. They just like things that can be fun or made fun.

I mean there's allot that are just 'Shove in a V8' but allot of them do enjoy little sports cars as well. Guy down the road dailies a NA Miata in the summer, and you wouldn't guess it from his typical attire of Camo and more camo.
