Have you ever been in a car crash /o/?
What was it like? What was the damage?
>>17226211
Don't remember it. Woke up with a bunch of people asking me question about what day, month, and year. Got hit on the passenger side. It was very confusing and I had no idea what was going on for about 30 minutes.
>>17226251
Ouch that sucks man, how was your car?
was with my mom in her shitty ford aspire. was christmas day and was going to my sister's house. woman feel asleep at the well coming out of a subdivision in a fucking expedition and hit the front right of the car. smashed the engine compartment really fucking bad. if she had hit the passenger section i would probably be dead. spent the first half of xmas strapped to a board in the back of an amberlamps and in the ER and the latter half of the day wishing those faggot nurses had given me some fucking pain killers. car was totalled, no fucks given.
What are your plans during the time when the summerfags arrive /o/?
Shitpost about V8's
Rear disc brake conversion and better pads and rotors all around.
Summerfaggots are small time compared to the mega autists that inhibit this board 24/7 all year round.
>stall in front of a cop
>driving at 5 over
>cop comes up behind and blues go on
>sits for 5 seconds before overtaking and speeding away
>when a tall muscular cop pulls you out of the car and pats you down while asking you to spread your legs
>driving in city
>cop passes in opposite direction
>his lights come on
>doesn't turn around
>continues in the same direction chasing somebody else
What's the verdict on the new Honda Accord?
>>17225933
The TLX is finally going in the right direction, aggressive styling on par with the Accord touring. It won't compete in its segment until they get serious and use a turbo 6 or at least turbo 4 at 350~hp
why does Honda/Acura love this tiered two screen bullshit? It looks fucking horrendous.

>>17227205
What the fuck, Acura?
For me, its the Mercedes SL65.
>>17225857

Call me dumb but I actually kind of like the door config, and the car looks really nice from the rear end so take that as you will.
Does anyone know how the turbo compares to something like a Fiesta ST or even an optioned out Civic with regards to power, handling, acceleration, etc. ?
>>17225913
The veloster is total shit m8. their is a couple of people here that fell for the maymay
Please no shit post.
How did the LS get so universally adopted? I understand there are competing engines(Coyote) but how often do you hear of a coyote swap into a Camaro as opposed to an LS swap into a foxbody? Just last weekend I went to the drag strip, of the three fox body mustangs there, all of them had LS swaps(2 N/A, 1 twin turbo).
I get that now it's cheaper and easier, but how did this all START? Why did people start swapping the LS first and then it caught on as opposed to the Coyote?
>>17224732
Did you see any 460 swaps? Same size as Coyote, way more power potential.
>>17224745
Nah, a few mopars and the rest were big block Chevy's.
>>17224732
Coyotes are twice as big physically and 10 times the cost, why would anybody use them?
Changing the cams on a coyote costs thousands, changing the SINGLE cam on an LS costs ~300 dollars.
SBC swaps were huge before the LS even existed, after the LS came out it made the older engines irrelevant, but they share the same bolt pattern with the transmissions and motor mounts, so it makes perfect sense to just keep using the LS in place of the older generations of chevy motors.
>mid engined
>real wheel drive
>two seats
>maximum visibility, no crash/pedestrian safety bullshit whatsoever
>normally manual
>low weight
>high power
>engines normally NA, only turbo for true insanity not to make up for lacking power in an economy POS
>never used as appliances because actual effort is needed to use them, and creativity is needed just to carry a load of groceries
Is it, dare I say, /ourvehicle/?
Tell me how to not be afraid of riding a motorcycle. I'm confident that I would be fine, but I cannot stop thinking about getting smeared all over the asphalt by a soccermom

Just ride in low traffic areas
Was it a gift or you paid for it yourself?
first car was a 1989 audi coupe b2 with 350.000km and i bought it myself for 900 euros
it slowly fell apart but i swear i've never driven a car with such a good handling chassis ever again
1983 Ford EXP. My father co-signed the loan for me.
2000 Celica GTS bought it 8 years ago cash$ 4,500k 63k miles . Still have it and runs perfect hasn't given me any issues 160k now.
>300-400hp hot hatches
doesn't that kind of defeat the point?
Whats the point of getting a 350hp Golf when you could have a mustang or a challenger at that power range?
>>17223978
To have a good car.
>>17223978
Buys RS focus.
Paid more then 5.0 mustang
Okay dude.
>>17223978

>>17223348
If you want people pointing your fingers at you and sniggering, go for it.
